Trailing 2-0, the Kings stunned the Stars on power-play goals by Lubomir Visnovsky with 1 second left in the second period and 27 seconds remaining in the third. Michael Cammalleri drew penalties that led to both goals.
The victory extended the Kings' lead to four points over the second-place Stars, who have lost four straight to Los Angeles, including a 3-2 defeat in Dallas on Saturday night.
Kings extended their season long losing streak to 10 after a 4-1 loss to Minnesota tonight. The Kings are now sitting at 12th place in the West with only 21 games remaining. Andy Murray was quoted as saying " I was happy with the team's effort tonight. I felt that the Olympic break would be a good time to rest our players. But the time off has actually made them rusty. I feel once they get their game legs back they will be fine".
