Yup Rod Hill was it. He was pretty awesome, not just cause of that he was very friendly and funny.

Later told my dad that he said he remembered partying woth him in Regina day before Labour Day when he used to go in the 80s lol.

Question to anyone that used the Park and Ride via the new stadium transit station. How well organized was it? The last time I went it was a gong show to even find the bus I needed to get on. I was getting conflicting directions on where to go. Haven't gone since.

So how was it? And not just time-wise - how easy was it to get to and find the busses?

Unless you were wearing a Jets 1.0 jersey to a Moose game pre 2011.

Anyone else heard about the story where a ROTJer was supposed to do some contest at a Moose 1.0 game and was ordered to remove his Jets jersey? Quite unpleasant.

For the first time in the last 17 years, someone other than legendary broadcaster Bob Irving will call a Winnipeg Blue Bombers game on the radio Friday night.

Irving, 66, is scheduled to have a heart-related medical procedure on Wednesday in Winnipeg and will not travel to Vancouver for the Bombers game against the B.C. Lions.

Holy ****, he's only 66? That made me look up Dennis Beyak's age - he's also ~66. The thought of not having both of these fantastic play-by-play callers not do Winnipeg games in my lifetime is unfathomable.

I used the park and ride for last week's game vs the Argos. It was very well organized and getting out after the game was a breeze. If you exit via Gate 4 and cross the bridge there is clear signage indicating where to go for each route.
