Based on the past 3 games are the Bruins now buyers or sellers on March 1st?

A week ago after the loss to Toronto nearly 90% of members voting in a similar poll wanted the Bruins to be sellers on March 1.

The Bruins only play 5 more times before March 1st with 3 games in California, one in Dallas and a home game against Arizona?

And if they decide to buy who do they offer?

Same as always. Long term buys, not rentals.

We have seen this movie before. They should be sellers.

They've always been buyers.

Sellers like they should have been last year. If they are buyers, no way in hell do you get any rentals.

I have felt as long as there was a chance to make the playoffs they will buy. I do think they need at least 3 points in California to make the plunge.

Least see how they do on this very tough 4 game road trip after the bye

Last years team went on the same trip and went 0-4

The trick is to add the help before the trip.Your in or you out.You do not get to burn another 4 games.A good GM should know by now what he has

Faulty premise: You don't base the answer based upon the last 3 games.

The Bruins should maybe not be sellers, but they definitely should not be buyers.

Beleskey, Nash, Jimmy all need to go somehow, someway.

If we could deal Chara for something good; all for it.

But, while this team played on adrenaline for 3 games, and played well, the structural defects remain...

I think they should just roll the dice with what they have and hope the Cassidy train carries them into the playoffs.

Where is the "BOTH" choice? I say they should sell whoever is redundant or doesn't fit in and buy whoever they need to keep moving in the right direction. BTW, to Bruce Cassidy for his huge (3rd) win over Montreal!

Did last years team beat Montreal 4-0 at home?

But I agree that we shouldn't make a trade just for the sake of making the playoffs,

Buyers, but only for players who can stay beyond this season, no rentals, unless they com in cheap (but a cheap rental would hardly be an improvement over what we have, so what's the point?). Sell, if you can get a team to overpay. I don't think we are one or two pieces away from the cup, so it doesn't make sense to sell our future, but long-term help in areas of need (top-4 D) would be great.

The remaining 5 games before the deadline will determine what we do. If we head out west and take 3 of 5, I could see us being buyers. It would make us 6-2 under Cassidy and unless the scoring slows down, Sweeney and Co. may see this as a chance to get back to the playoffs.

Buyers but it wont be too easy . I think this team is pretty easy in what it needs . We need a top end d-man say a 3 or higher but the chances of that happening in the next couple weeks are slim and none . We do however need some 2nd or 3rd line wingers which should be easier to find. We have to be prepared to lower beleskey and hayes ice time to next to zero or suits though if they don't pick it up or are moved .

I think that Neely is going to force them to buy. This little win streak will serve as the impetus. They should wait for the West Coast trip though. That should be their reality check, but it won't be and they will overpay for whatever they get.

This will be answered after the road trip to SJ, ANA, LAK & DAL. In recent memory, that pretty much nuked us...
