I'm surprised they didn't take down that #11 Hayes jersey in the bar. I'm sure it's disturbing to a lot of customers.

Sad part is Jimmy does train with the same people as his brother. From the beginning everyone always said Kevin was the better player, better IQ, better skill etc. even back in high school days people were saying that @Boston.
Kevin also keeps a low profile in NYC now and at home. Don't see him out and about as much as people see Jimmy.

If that's the Eire Pub, Hayes' dad drinks there. It used to have Jimmy's Blackhawks sweater mounted in glass.

He's actually played better since Cassidy took over, for what it's worth.

Thought so too, although that's not really saying much, he's definitely looked at least like a solid 4th liner though.

I knew the guy would be bad when we made the trade but even after this improvement, he's still worse than I thought he would be.

At 3x the price and still playing on the 3rd line. He has looked touch peppier, I'll grant, but he still fairly useless out there, which I guess is an improvement in that useless is better than how tragic he looked earlier in the year.

I mean I definitely would prefer Czarnik or virtually any young guy in there over him, but at least he isn't a liability right now

We traded a young 20 goal scoring top 6 winger for Jimmy @#$! Hayes.

This is why I hate Bruins management. The stupidity of their moves just rankles.

Hopefully we can ship Hayes out for a low round draft pick soon. Or maybe we can trade him for a struggling player with upside who needs a change of scenery.

2 goals in 43 games for a forward. Enough said.

Fair enough- he is just nothing out there but a body, but at least one that isn't costing the team goals. That said, he IS a liability in that he is preventing someone from getting ice time who we'd rather see develop. Maybe when Czarnik returns (what is wrong with him anyway??) Hayes goes back to the press box? Maybe he's playing because Sweeney is trying to move him and he needs exposure?

Thank you, I keep reading oh he's getting better under Cassidy, he's more aggressive etc. He has 4 points(his first point since last February 2016 was on Nov. 27th!!), he's been scratched I think 15 times this year. We need to move him somewhere and let the kids play!! Hopefully someone will take him in a trade as Vegas is sure as heck not taking him.

I am in no way shape or form defending Jimmy Hayes but Riley Smith for a 5 million cap hit has 22 points in 52 games is -11 and just about as soft and uninvolved most nights as Lil Jimmy, it was really a nothing for nothing deal, dumping Hayes at 2.25 million should be easier than getting rid of Smith at 5m which is some solace.

ok wait, what if we laid him on his side in the crease in behind Rask on the PK.

This could work guys...

Rask plays 8-10" farther out, just plays high shots. Hayes blocks off the whole bottom.

Why does this premise strikingly remind me of the film "Goon" for some reason??? I guess, Jimmy kinda seems like the protagonist, minus the savage fighting skills and ability to take punishment??

Hold on, there, smoke. Don't you read the GDTs? It has been reporting for months under "milestones" that Jimmy Dorchester is about to crack the career 100 point mark!! He's now at 99. Of course, Pastrnak just cracked that mark in his second season.

Too bad the team is going on a four game road trip. It's possible Jimmy will hit that career milestone. Unfortunately, it won't be at home in front of his many fans. 😩

I could be wrong but it seems that Spooner and his gf went on vacation with Hayes and his gf (source: instagram). Funny how these two players played like **** all season and now all of a sudden they're posting about winning ...

Could work, yes! It helps save Tuuka's groin and we actually get something of use out of Jimmy if his body stops a few. Love it

They should stop the game like they did with Jagr and have confetti thrown on the ice if he hits 100.

Bad idea. The confetti will knock him down.

Still do not understand why he is cracking the lineup.

If anyone can find a Youtube video of Jimmy winning a board battle during his time in Boston, I'd love for someone to post it.
