Savard: I think that he'll sign for around US$ 3,500,000- 4,500,000

- Ducks: Some Ducks fan want to sign him
- Chicago: Is possible
- Leafs: Just guessing here
- Caps: Savard is clicking with Kovy in ATL, perhaps he can connect with AO as well

Jokinen: Some team may overpay for him, but he should gather around US$ 4,000,000- 5,500,000.

- Ducks
- Bruins
- Flames: They have already expressed interest
- Chicago: Jokinen to Ruutu= goal?
- Jackets
- Wild: They apparently want Richards, but Jokinen would also look good in Wild uni.
- Predators: They have already expressed interest in Olli.
- Rangers: Straka & Rucchin are FA. They need a 1st line center.
- Leafs: Allison and Lindros are FA. Some TML fans are hoping that OJ signs in Toronto.
- Caps.

A guy like Jokinen will be demand.

I can see Edmonton being interested. Peca's $4 million will come off the books at the end of this year and Jokinen would fit like a glove. We'll need a centre and we'll have the budget.

I'm guessing Brian Burke will push hard for Marc Savard. He'd be the perfect fit with Joffrey Lupul, and the Ducks have the room to give what he likely wants.

As for Jokinen, I think he'll wind up in Edmonton. They've got a great core there, and once Peca leaves, they could give him what he made and more.

Savard seems like the type of player George McPhee (WSH) would want.

I say Jokinen goes to Florida and Savard to Atlanta. Hey both teams are really close to a plyoff spot. Why trade one of your best players.? I say both stay right where they are. There are really few sellers in the trade market right now. Very few teams are out of the playoffs.

And Koivu is/was his hero when he was a kid. He's easily a shoes in for the 1st line in Montreal with Koivu signing a decent-small contract to play on the 2nd line

It is pretty much an open secret that the Capitals, planning to open the purse strings, will target a UFA pivot for the scoring lines (though strangely, probably not for Ovechkin. They seem to like the Ovechkin-Zubrus-Clark line, and all three are under contract for 2006-07).

Savard could make sense, though I am sure they would love Jokinen... but I am not sure Jokinen hits the open market. I think Florida raises its offer and that he will ultimately sign in Florida.

If Guerin is bought out after this season(please do it) and Arnott walks, I could see the Stars taking a run at Jokinen(and add yet another Finnish player to the ranks).

Jokinen to the ducks.. maybe back to the kings?

I could see savard signing with the habs seeing as how riberio won't be with the team at seasons end and we need a #1B center.

Jokinen I dunno, but I could see Savard just ending up with whoever offers him the most money. He seems like that kinda guy. Whoever will overpay, thats where he'll end up.

I think you'll see Savard in Colorado.

Jokinen, i don't know, I could see the Canucks really trying for him but thats just homer-ism. I would say, probably the Flames if they can stay in the bidding war.
