It was a tap. You obviously can't touch the ref like that, and I have no problem with the call, but he didn't slash him. I just think he's been pissed about the way the officials have handled the game, including the faceoffs.

I could see a suspension coming because you just can't touch the officials at all. But in the range of abusing officials on a scale from 1(nothing) to 10(Wideman), this is a 3 at best. It was more of a come on tap than a angry slash, that being said you can't do it.

Not sure what the suspension scale is for, but I think 2 games would be reasonable.
