Subban even said himself he goes at random times when the cameras aren't there to see them.

He's a great role model for kids

Justin Falk.

And I guess anyone else who embarrasses that clown Alex Burrows.

You don't admire people who use the platform they have been given in order to serve positive movements/causes? Seems like a strange thing to say.

Crosby is a good one.

He is a great ambassador for our sport.

Kopitar refused to talk with anyone at the airport, whereas Josi, Streit, Forsberg, and Ekholm socialized with whoever came up to them and was super friendly about it (Forsberg was a bit a joker though haha).

Kolzig, Mellanby and Dafoe for creating Athletes Against Autism. As someone who has a close family member greatly affected by it, it's nice to see people like them starting an organization to help it

This. I think the money went to the NICU.

Chris Kreider

People think he's a meathead but it's part of his role to play on the edge.

Off the ice, he's humble, works his ass off, and is fiercely intelligent.

Burns and Subban are others. They're bright personalities that the game needs and Subban's work with kids is second to none.

He's an older guy but Gilles Villemure is one of the genuinely most pleasant guys I've ever met. I told him my dad was a fan from all the way back in his day, and he was actually interested in hearing my stories about being a Rangers fan in the sixties (from what I heard of course)

Also I used to think Crosby was a little ****waffle but he's really grown up.

Oh and the Sedins. They're just saints.

I hate the guy but P.K. his interviews and stories paint him to be a pretty big hearted guy. Plus the donation was insane to the hospital along with his speech which seemed pretty genuine.

Local plug would be Mike Fisher. He came to a few events at my old job and solid guy but sort of reserved. However always responded with a smile and helped whoever he could;

He's retired but Craig Conroy AINEC for me.

Nicest player I've ever come across in any sport. Always has a smile on his face. Best attitude in a player I've ever seen

Subban and Hartnell were the first two active players that came to mind.

Jordan Tootoo. I'm sure everyone has seen the video of him giving his stick to the young fan during his short stint with the red wings organization

Daniel Alfredsson and Chris Neil were two of my heroes growing up. I met both and they were so nice, especially Neil. I remember being 1st in line for his autograph session at the Sens store when I was about 12, he spoke to me for about 5 minutes and he is a genuine great person. People may complain about his play on the ice but he's somebody you want around your team at all times, he'd go to war for anyone wearing the Senators crest.

Kreider is my favorite player on the Rangers now to watch, not just because his style of play but he seems like a goof and down to earth guy off the ice. It's been a lot of fun seeing him put up a very good season this year. People labeled him a dirty player when he was running into goalies like Price. Think he only went into 2 goalies, lol. But that was not done intentionally and he has learned to control his speed and has just matured on the ice and is smarter.

Makes you feel like the only difference between him and you is that he is the best hockey player in the world and you are not
Most people didn't even know he had a gf until recently...hes been with her for years...

Players I admire most are the one who don't advertise their goodwill gestures.

Just because he has a dry personality, doesn't necessarily mean he's a "true" leader. (especially compared to current successful captains) Other than that I agree.
