I'm no Jets fan nor do I hate Pens but the angle from behind Malkin showed him clearly leaving his feet and the contact to the head. I'd say that could easily be 2 game suspension.

More accurate then saying it's not vicious

...I like Malkin (always pick him in my pool), but that was dirty...primary contact to the head (honestly looked like he targeted the head)...should be getting a call from Quintal...

Why is no one else blaming Stuart?!

I can see it being a head shot, but I don't see anything vicious from it.

Fair, then we can go to the blatant elbow Cole threw to Petan's head after the whistle. Point is neither team has been saints, and to say anyone deserves a concussion is very disrespectful.

Ya. The Jets fans are the clueless ones. Sure. A head shot isn't a bad hit but you barely touch a penguin and the entire crowd acts like their player was just killed

The refs lost control of this game a long time ago. That said Malkin clearly jumped into the hit but it wasn't all that "vicious" especially in this particular game. I have no idea what the powers that be at NHL safety will decide.

Are you not familiar with how players like Stevens, Lindros, & Messier played? You're obviously too young to have watched them but you can't be that oblivious to what kind of players they were.

How do you expect people to take your opinion seriously here when you're not even trying to hide your hatred of Malkin?

Good one? Yeah. A high hit on Schultz' head against the boards, and a super late hit on Maatta - both of which have been out since. Been playing 4 D since the 3rd started. Wheeler was off the ice for maybe 3 minutes and that was after not getting a penalty for jumping into the pile on top of Malkin.

Buff's hit was dirty too I'll admit that. But that shouldn't have any effect on whether Malkin's was dirty or not

I won't comment on the fans, but your assessment of the broadcast is accurate.

I think it's more a case of "an eye for an eye" more so than whether either one dirty is not (they both are).

All three were much better at the game, though.

The exact same thing happened to Scheif near the end of the second, and he went face first into the boards. The difference was Scheif was prepared for contact, so though he went face first into the boards, he wasn't hurt.
