You can tell by the defensive zone changes AV doesn't trust Zibs either.
Honestly it would behoove AV and the team to get Zucc away from Zibanejad.

Those 2 haven't worked well together at all at any point this season.

You know why lol. I was writing out my beer menu today and I just brought in Straffe Hendrik. Never do that, just tired, sorry.

P.S. The beer is awesome if your into Belgian's. Maybe one of the best in the world.

All of you saying ppl are overreacting on the pp, what gives you the notion that it will go back to what it was? The puck movement is nowhere near it was earlier in the year, looks like the pp for the past 8 years or so. PP is important to success. You get a 4v3, do zip, not even zip but you circle the blueline allowing the 3 isles defenders and Greiss to laugh it up, then on top of that you have a 4 min pp, no urgency from the captain or 21 or others and allow 4 guys to pound away on Hank? Hell of a game too from McDonagh, laid back as hell tonight.

Powerplay, defensive play, and just wait until the playoffs.

Great quote, but if 24 or 19 had Kreider's size and skill they'd be studs. They outworked guys like Stepan and Kreider.

Why in gods name would you bet on the Rangers against the isles in Brooklyn coming off of a big win against Columbus? This game had loss written all over it.

Because it's been good for longer than it's been bad this season. I hate the units right now, but those will sort themselves out eventually.

So if Lindberg was a good hockey player he'd be a good hockey player like Kreider? Cool.

He truly is useless.

And people on twitter were getting mad today at Larry Brooks for suggesting trading him.

Not only is he useless and doesn't do anything, but he's slow so he doesn't fit the system.

Great plays all around by him in the Islanders first goal. He loses his man who ends up wide open back door then he dives across and not only doesn't block it, but he bumps heavily in the Lundqvist and prevents him from trying to make a desperation save. Just top notch stuff, Oscar.

You 2 sir, good game. I would not put much stock into anything from either side tonight. We all know Islanders VS Rangers you can throw everything out the window and the next game back to normal.

The PP is 20% and no one is talking about the playoffs. And the latter is frankly a very stupid thing to hold against Zibanejad for obvious reasons.

But that's the thing. I cannot trust the coach with that or configuring d pairs. 4 was good too tonight and he will come out. 8, 18, and 5 oughta be.....well.....I probably shouldn't go forward with that but whatever. God help us if they do acquire 22 in white for STL. He will be paired with 8 on the third pair, getting the final 30 seconds of the PP while I watch 27, 21, and 36 play hot potato with it at the blueline.

Yeah, I don't know how we can even compare Brassard to Mika when it comes to the post season.

Mika has 16 playoff games to his name. 10 of them came as a 19 year old rookie.

Lmao.

Seriously, Oscar brings nothing to the table. He's not even a crazy hard worker like Fast.

Fast at least is a fast skater and a tenacious forechecker. Oscar is always too slow in the zone and he seems to have no vision at all. He's a fringe NHL-er who is good depth and that's about it.

Zibs has been a black hole fore a while. Plays have been dying on his stick. Doesn't matter who his wings are if he handles passes like hand grenades. If he did the old egg drills he could make the whole team omletes with all the ones he would break lol.

I think Mika will be back. We saw him doing some pretty good stuff earlier in the season. He can do that again, he will do that again. I liked Brassard a lot. Water under the bridge. Would do that trade again 10 out of 10 chances.

That's just fabricating reasons to dislike him at that point.

Their 4 on 3 execution is pitiful.

Minimal movement and the trigger man is McDonagh who has a mediocre shot from the half boards? Seriously? Then he misses the net? Awful. Truly awful.
