Some nice pressure on NSH in their own end these past 5 minutes or so...

Good on Savard to gain center part of ice on the shot

Agreed, but Nashville is playing pretty well themselves. Hopefully they'll wear down given it's the 2nd night of a B2B.

Feels like it's the all too familiar game of making a no name goalie look amazing because they can't finish

I think their goalie looks pretty unstable with some of those rebounds... Hoping our sticks find the puck eventually since we are whiffing pretty hard on some

that last 10 minutes was as good as they can play without scoring

Wish somebody would tell the Jackets that periods are 20 minutes. A great 18 minutes of effort is completely cancelled out by not showing up for the first 2.

This is a soapbox issue for me. Am I the only one who thinks the NHL needs to find a way to curb shot blocking? Example: Ryan Ellis laying supine on the ice blocking the net is bad for the game...there's no skill involved and all it does is reduce goal scoring (which is what the league is trying to increase).

Did Jeff Rimer just really wish (24 year old) Boone Jenner's mother a Happy 80th Birthday????

Honestly..........

Jody Shelly tried to save the day by saying how much his parents and grandparents are proud of him.

Jody Shelly deserves better. I guess we do also.

At the game, pretty good crowd. Just a smattering of boos occasionally for 92.

I'll just keep my thoughts to myself I guess....

It's OK, I'm next to F this and F that. I don't mind, but my wife and kid do.

I think Rimer was referring to Jenner's grandmother

Honestly, why does it matter? Rimer is just being nice. Rimer talks to the players and their families, he knows them somewhat personally.

I'm wondering if we all have the same guy in mind...
The guy that disagrees and "corrects you" (rephrases exactly what you say) whenever you say anything to establish his "superior" hockey knowledge?

I found myself quickly trying to ignore that guy.

Hopefully we come in and keep pressure up in 2nd

Hartnell is really off tonight. He had nobody on him and he killed that 2-on-1 by trying to pass it to JJ as hard as he can
