I had my wife and 9-yr old kid with me and both had a great time. My wife is a huge Frolov fan and she was 3rd in line for him (while I was about 50th in line for Luc - which wasn't bad considering). After that my son wanted Parros' signature and George remembered my son from a preseason game when the players were wandering Staples and George took a picture and chatted with him for a while.

What was really cool was initially my screw-up. I wound up parking on the other side of the facility and we walked around to the gate. When we left we had to walk back around and as we got there all the players were walking out. My son got a picture with Gleason and Guiliano in the parking lot and exchanged high five's with Norstrom, Brown and Cammy as they were leaving. I had a chance to chat briefly with Garon while he was waiting for someone to come out and he says he loves LA and playing here. Told him we are glad he's here also. Like I said, my intial screw-up turned out to be a cool deal at the end of the event.

So did anybody corner Van Boxmeer and ask him about the power play? My wife asked me who was signing my son's jersey and I told her it was one of the coaches. When we walked away I told her which one and what he did (special teams) and she said "so he's the one"!!!

Great day over all and I liked it better at the Home Depot Center than Staples. Alot less walking to get in line for things.

Ouch!

It was more because halco added the infamous "D" to Norstrom's name (something the Duck's announcer is famous for doing). Not because of a spelling mistake.

1. It's actually a grammatical error, not a spelling error

2. I believe that it is actually Ducks', not Duck's (unless they are the Mighty Duck of Anaheim)

How about:

3. "Not because of a spelling mistake." is not a complete sentence.

Anyone else?

I didn't really take any pictures other than Luc and myself, but my friend did grab a shot of Corvo for some of you cats who love him.

Just giving you a tough time because some people were flipping out when the Ducks' (there you go PSP ) play by play guy was calling Mattias "Nordstrom".

Those came out great for a cell phone! Your son is going to break some hearts as he gets older. Very handsome young boy.

Did not see KJ's response. Great minds think alike

I wish I went now to the event. I had 4 free tickets darn it!
