How about a big congrats to Ryder!!

For his first ever carreer hat trick. This kid is what you call a pure goal scorer. Get him the puck, and he knows where to put it.

Anyways, i like Ryder, and i feel he deserves a hand of applause.

Let's hope he has a few left for the playoff run! Now that 3rd goal was a goalscorer's goal.

I loved that third goal. He shot it, then out of no where I saw the puck in the net and him celebrating. I couldn't wait for those hats to come flying.

See, what the Bell Centre needs to do is give away hats for people who sign up for credit cards. Then there would have been many more. I'd never throw my hat if I were at a game. I paid $40 for that thing!

Well he had to break out of his slump. Before today's game he had only 4 goals in his last 20. Now its Kovalev's turn to break out. (only 3 in his last 21) Congrats Mike one of my fave players

Hey guys on Tv we could just see one cap on the ice , i find it kinda dissapointing . Sure caps aren't as popular as before but it was an evening game with a lot of kids in the Bell Center !!

Congrats to M.Ryder , you could see Koivu and Souray were trying to feed him badly on the PP !

I watched the game on TV but didn't see any hats flying? Maybe because they zoomed in on him on the bench after the goal, but I didn't see any in the background either when they were on the ice celebrating. So were there any hats flying or not, for those who might've been there?

Yes, as mentioned around a half dozen.

Ryder is still weak defensively I think. One of Montreal's weaker players. I hope he can figure that part of the game out.

I seem to remember that after the rats, octupus and the like the league put a rule in place that the home team could get a minor penalty for debris on the ice? maybe that has something to do with it.

How about a big contract for Ryder...?

Has he earned the right to not be nickel-and-dimed this summer? 3yrs, $7M? What's he worth at this stage?
