Really hoping that Zinger et al can identify some defense that will help the Moose. ****, spend some money to help the development of the farm kids.

Interesting quirk in the Moose schedule to play 3 games in three days in three different rinks.

On the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of March they will play 3 games in Rockford, Chicago and Milwaukie.

I know Chicago and Milwaukie are relatively close but I do not know where Rockford is.

Back to back to back........... The Moose should carry 3 goalies on their active roster...... just like the Jets currently do.

I've been saying this for years. It's not about taking playing time away from the true blue chip prospects who have a legit shot of playing for the Jets, it's about putting those prospects in better positions to develop.

Rockford is basically a Chicago suburb

I think the org's logic is sound but the problem is that we are short on blue chip dmen so we are essentially reserving slots for fringe prospects. So next season I would like to see a real good AHL dmen or two brought in. Although if Poolman and Niku are over then our defense might not need many tweaks.

Either way the defense hasn't hindered the development of Connor or Roslovic this season. Comrie is also performing well in a difficult situation.

I can't say our D has hindered anything, but the question could be asked (and is impossible to answer I know) have they maximized their development?

They needed a defenseman to fill in for some injuries/call ups to the Jets and he saw his way out when players returned. Considering he's at 0.83 PPG as a defenseman in the ECHL, I would have kept him, but they released him anyway.

He's been on a tear recently. Scoring a bit more like he did in the NCAA, which is great to see.

Totally cherry picking but Lipon on a 0.63 ppg pace since I published his point projection might go up.

Connor had 2 SOG in the first 70 seconds (scored twice) and then zero shots the rest of the way?
