The Moose are hot and are being led by the young guns. A little Sunday reading.

Hopefully the Moose win this afternoon.

They're 8 points out of the playoffs.

That's not important. Where were they on US Thanksgiving?

Not sure I get separating the three best forwards for even strength.

Development. By playing with unskilled players, the talented players become even more skilled. This is why Thorburn is on the Jets. Anyone he is playing with has to become better to make up for him.

A bit like swinging a weighted bat, or running up a hill?

Clever little backhand-while-falling-down goal by Lemieux to draw the Moose within 2 of the Wolves. Currently 5-3 with about 14m left in the 3rd.

Connor with a great take-away on the forecheck, and a nifty move for a beauty of a goal! 5-4 Wolves now.

Connor again! This kid is on fire right now! Only if the AHL stream wasn't so ****. The quality of this stream is prehistoric. I have noticed all Chicago area AHL rinks have garbage streams

I would kill to have Vince Dunn in the Jets system. Not only a good player but also entertaining as hell

Started off like this:

They shortened the bench this period though with trailing in the 3rd.

Thx. That d unit makes me chuckle every time. Nice to see Connor get his confidence back, it was only a matter of time.

The stream quality is ****ing ridiculous. What streaming platform even has a setting to stream at that low quality? It's like they pass it through a wormhole into the 1998 through a RealVideo streaming server back to the present through a potato then through a very fancy Vaseline filter then a random packet loss generator.

So the Moose are developing Strait and Melchiori... I was getting worried that the Strait signing was a complete bust but there must be a reason he's logging top minutes instead of the rest of our D prospects

Yet he never gets called up. Raffl must have put Strait onto the Jets.

I think it's the quality of cameras at certain arenas like Rockford and Chicago. The stream quality is not too bad in some arenas like Moose home games or San Antonio (it's not NHL.tv level quality but it is still watchable) but some arenas are just the worst on a consistent basis.

How do they not call up Connor now? This is the hottest stretch we've seen from any of our prospects with the Moose/Caps so far. Meanwhile Chris *** Thorburn is on pace to play 60+ games this year.

I don't understand this organization.

He will get his chance soon enough. For now it looks like half a year of AHL was exactly what was in his best interest.
