The drunk fans and the Blackhawks at Preds

One hour to puck drop

Need a place to brag/gloat/vent for those who are not like me and listening to the Doors while cooking dinner at home for your wife.

Go Preds!

Blackhawks suck.

Supposedly Saros in net.

Blackhawks suck.

I don't want to hear any complaining about Potato tonight because Lavy made the mistake of not letting him get at least a spot start over the last month since he last played. I pointed out awhile ago that Lavy needed to get him some playing time so he isn't so rusty.

Blackhawks suck.

Saros is net. Bitetto in. I hadn't realized that the hawks are 11-1 in their last 12 games. Just been paying attention to the Blues and the wild card teams we are fighting with and not the hawks and the wild.

So many Hawks fans. Why do our fans suck so bad? Pretty hard to call yourself a hockey market with turn outs like this

That's one way of looking at it. Another is wondering why this grow the gold policy doesn't work.

Isn't the Blackhawks the team with the most fans in the Western conference?
Not surprised.

Because you can't control individual sales by season ticket holders if they decide to sell for a big profit.

They shouldn't have a policy if our own fans would buy tickets

Really? How do I sell these tickets? I haven't looked in awhile but thought it was supposedly not possible?

Pretty sure legally they can't stop you. As long as you have the name changed on the tickets in advance I'm pretty sure they have to honor them.

I've heard stories of season ticket holders who basically pay for their season tickets each year by selling their tickets to games against popular teams for exorbitant prices.

I'm not even aware of a method to print or email these games. You can't post them on the ticket exchange either. So would be interested in learning how some of these fans got in. Guess I'll ask in a bit.

Obviously someone figured out a way to bypass the system so it's not impossible.

Dear Pekka,

That's how you play a wraparound with the paddle down.

Signed,

Juuse Saros

You mean you don't slide around with the 5 hole wide open then flop around like a fish as the puck bounces off your pads?

I know this should be in the ticket thread, but this vent is for this game only. I gave my niece and her cousin tickets to this game for Christmas. I'm currently out of town, so instead of me simply being able to email them to her, she had to drive over to my office during her lunch break to get the passport, which then I'll have to get back next week. Sure, it's a minor inconvenience in the giant scheme of things, but it's also ridiculous. And by looking at the crowd, why in the hell am I having to jump thru these hoops?

Plus, my Chicagoan brother, who suddenly became the world's biggest Hawks fan about five years ago (I wonder why?), gives me crap about this "keep the red out" shtick every time we play. And I have no comeback because he is right.
