With that logic Andersen should win by a mile. Oiler fans can't have it both ways, either the D is good now or it isn't?

Unless Bob has some pretty horribly games coming up he has this in the bag.

Bobrovsky is having the best season, but Holtby will win it. Hard to separate the goalie from the team, and Holtby has a hell of a team in front of him. Not dissing Holtby, he is an elite goaltender, but what Bobo has done in Columbus has been amazing.

Price is closing the gap big time on Holtby and Dubnyk in terms of stats.

Bobrovsky is distancing himself from the other 2.

I mean, I get that Washington is a higher profile club... But you do realize that the two teams have a nearly identical record, right? Columbus actually has more wins

Anyway, as it stands I expect Bobrovsky to win with Holtby and Dubnyk the finalists. If one of them falters and Price continues to play the way he has, he can sneak into the top 3 but I doubt any of them can understand Bob at this point.

Bob is the no-brainer choice. Everything about his numbers holds up, and Columbus is a fantastic story this year to boot. Holtby will be in the mix, but I think most will lean towards Bobrovsky.

The one I'm interested to see is Dubnyk. The basic numbers look great, even with the last couple weeks or so considered, but the advanced stats do not like him at all this year, slotting him just below average. I wonder if Talbot or Price will make up any ground on him to get the 3rd nomination.

Or even a rookie Matt Murray (in case we've all forgotten that he's still a rookie).

Murray has been great this year but I don't think he's played enough games to be worth a consideration. He'll be one of the front runners next season though.

In fairness, we're talking about the "race" to 3rd or 4th, not contention for the win. His games played would weigh more heavily against him if all his other numbers weren't so much better than the other guy he shared time with, imo. But in the end, because of the years other goalies are putting up for comparison, you're probably right. Crazy that this year might be such that he doesn't even end up in Calder discussions, either.

Price has GM's and coaches drooling over him all the time. That being said, there's still season left, and we're talking about 3rd and 4th place finishes likely anyways.

Please, not Bobrovsky.
He'll be the only 2 time Vezina not elected to the HOF.

I'd love to see Holtby win back to back but right now, I see it as BobHoltDub in that order.

I think Bob will win it . But I think Price might sneak in as a finalist because of name recognition . I don't think he should cause of that 20 + game stretch . Although he is 2nd in even strength save %.

But yeah with dubnyk falling I could see price stealing a spot but Bob should win in the end

What Bobrovsky has done this year…and no offense to Dubnyk but I'd love to play behind that team.

Bobbo all day.

6 weeks ago it was Dub's to win, then Minnesota started tumbling.
3 weeks ago it was Holtby's to win, then the Caps started fumbling.
Today, I'd say it Bob's, unless of course Columbus starts stumbling.

I agree. unless talbot gets another 3 shutouts by the time the season ends and gets 40 wins
