They raised prices most seasons when they were losing as well, so I don't think winning has anything to do with it. The reason stated sounds like a complete joke, because we all know this is a cash grab.

My seats went down in 2004 and then went up a few years ago by $1 a seat, so that isn't entirely true.

My understanding is this will close the gap between subscriber price and ticket price, I don't see how this will affect the secondary market.

For reference, our seats went up approximately $800 for the season(42 games). It was $38 a ticket, now it's 51.98.
