Can someone, maybe an Ottawa fan post the possible lines for Ottawa so I can see how we match up? Thanks.

the game should be available in HD on channel 712 if you have Time Warner Cable in Manhattan. they have aired all the Rangers and Knicks home games (except for the ones on OLN) on 712.

I don't know if he's ACTUALLY nicknamed 'the horse', I just thought it was fitting given his massively thick neck and history with steroids.

I'd go one step further

I'd sit Hossa and have my 4th line look like this

Hollweg - Nieminen - Orr

and roll four lines and let them loose on creating as much havoc as possible.

Dump and chanse and hit EVERYTHING in a Senators sweater.

I would not play Nieminen tonight, Hossa and Hollweg should be in the lineup IMO.

Hossa, because he has deserved it and we need his strenght.

Hollweg, because we need the hits.

Nieminen, because we dont need the obstruction penalties.

Recent news:

Fisher is back in the lineup though he isn't 100 % after a bout with the flu. Murray has publicly called out the top line on the Senators after their production has sagged somewhat in the last 5 games. McGrattan is expected to play but has a swollen eye from his bout with Peters so he may not be up to fighting.

Potential lines:
Dany Heatley - Jason Spezza - Daniel Alfredsson
Peter Schaefer - Bryan Smolinski - Chris Neil
Vaclav Varada - Chris Kelly - Patrick Eaves
Mike Fisher - Antoine Vermette - Christoph Schubert

Chris Phillips - Zdeno Chara
Wade Redden - Anton Volchenkov
Andrej Meszaros - Brian Pothier

Dominik Hasek

EDIT: Altered to those on the Sens Website.

Or you were..The Isles and Flyers still hit us at will (ask Prucha)..Won't say anymore and we'll agree to disagree because dont' want to turn this into another Orr thread

Just wanna see hard work, guts and effort and some hitting, no matter who's in there..

Makes sense. You wouldn't want to start Henrik two nights in a row on a travel night right before the Olympics. I'm sure Toronto will start their backup in one of those games too.

-Smolinski could also see time on the wing with Vermette at centre.
-Varada plays both LW and RW so he and Eaves could swap.
-Schubert has been playing well at forward so he's a possibility up front, at the expense of McGrattan potentially.

That's awesome. Thanks a lot

Weekes was solid, yes, but he wasn't challenged all that much besides the two goals he let in (neither were his fault). The point is, Henrik is by far our best goalie and he has to start when we are facing the best teams. Weekes is a good backup goalie and we will need him later in the season.

Thanks.

Hmm. My lineup for tonight:

Straka-Nylander-Jagr
Rucinsky-Rucchin-Sykora
Nieminen-Ward-Hossa
Hollweg-Moore-Ortmeyer

Can't put Orr in and have Ortmeyer on the 3rd line. Hopefully Hossa handles the shift back to RW well, hes been playing LW only for awhile.

One thing for sure, putting alot of trust in Nieminen. He can't take penalties tonight and put us in trouble.

I think the lines should be:
Straka - Nylander - Jagr
Rucinsky - Rucchin - Sykora
Hossa - Ward - Niemenen
Hollweg - Moore - Ortmeyer

I assume we'll see Lundqvist this time, right?

These are the lines from the sens Site:

Heatley - Spezza - Alfredsson
Schaefer - Smolinski - Neil
Varada - Kelly - Eaves
Fisher - Vermette - Schubert

McGrattan won't play.

I play Hollweg and Neimo. Neimo's a better skater than Orr, and I go with speed and experience against a tough Sens team. Ville and Hollweg should provide enough grit to handle these guys physically. Both of those two also have more of an offensive side than Orr, which we'll need to consider given Prucha's injury. LET'S GO RANGERS!!!

My best guess would be the end of March, maybe start of April. He's started skating now and is able to rehab a little harder, but he's still a ways away. Some people think he might be back by the start of March, but I don't buy it.

Fire...

he's been playing right wing lately too, with Prucha on the left side. Should be an easy transition for him, considering it's his 'natural' position.

Ok Guys....I had another dream about the game tonight (2nd time in a ROW!) and the scary thing is.....the last time it turned out to be true...remember this from the Philly GDT:

This dream is a little more unrealistic to happen but....Marcel Hossa scores a hat trick, the last goal was an EN goal, 4-1 Final.

I gotta stop thinking about the Rangers as i'm going to sleep it seems...

It looks like Fisher is playing on the 4th line instead of his usual position in between Neil and Schaefer because he'll see limited icetime due to his recovery from the flu.

No way you sit Hossa. He has earned the right to be in the lineup and he scored last game after coming so close for a stretch of games. Plus he has good size and he has been using that size to his advantage in the last 3 weeks. No reason to sit him.

I am still upset that they didnt call up Immonen or Dawes. I feel if a scorer goes down, then you replace him with a scorer. And on top of that, Dawes and Immonen have earned the right to be called up. You have a chance to call one of them up and they dont.

I think the team believes that Hossa is the replacement for Prucha. This is his oppurtunity to prove his offensive game is good enough to fit in for Prucha. Maybe not his level but be adequate.

Thank God we'll be able to watch the Knicks lose 7 in a row on Regular MSG. While the Rangers battle for first place in the NHL, AT HOME. Doesn't make much sense to me that this game is on MSG2 and the garbage, boring Knicks get the real channel.
