I'm glad Anderson is in nets for them, we've been lighting him up this season relative to prior ones. Plus he'll be tired after having a busy workload last night. I hope CJ doesn't make the same mistake with Price.

Stop. Stop. Stop. Price is always out best chance at winning. Enough already.

I think Prices stats on the second game of back to backs would be more relevant than his stats against only the Sens. Anyone have his B2B game stats?

Price sucks against the Sens as is when he's rested, throwing him out there tonight could cost us the game.
Price sucks against the Sens? If an 18-8-4 career reg season record against them means he sucks, then yeah I guess you're right....

Stats can be so misleading when they are cherry picked or framed as was done in this case. Rather than a career record, why was "since March 2013" used? Obviously to spin it a certain way and fit a desired narrative.

How about we put it this way. Carey Price is undefeated vs Ottawa in 2017? Much better!

Bring in Martinsen and McCarron and we're good to go as Ottawa bound to get dirty if we're beating them again. Also think Emelin slots in for Davidson who struggled a bit last night.

Patches Chucky Rads
Lehk Danault Shaw
Byron Plex Gally
Martinsen Ott McCarron

Markov Weber
Emelin Petry
Beau Benn

Price
Very impressive.

If Carey plays well and doesn't feel he needs a break, I'm sure Julien wouldn't be completely opposed to keep running with him. Therrien pampered Price because he was scared he would get hurt and he would lose his job. Claude isn't worried about job security. Price will rest when needed.

Guys, attack (respectfully) the post , not the poster. If you think a particular post is against the rule, report it. If you don't want to see a poster's posts, there is an ignore feature. I'll start throwing warnings/infractions if this personal attacks continue.

Reminder of the flaming rules:
1) Flaming: Do not post any messages that harass, insult (name calling), belittle, threaten or mock other members. Debates are fine, but critique the opinion, not the person. Personal attacks are not permitted. Do not call other posters trolls. Do not use sweeping generalizations and plural pronouns to cloak personal attacks. For example if a poster(s) states that he thinks 'x' is a good idea, replying that "Anyone who supports 'x' is an idiot" is a personal attack. Do not start threads to call out and embarrass other members. We do not permit any forums to be used to demean/insult the fans of other teams. This is viewed as generalized flaming.

Also a preemptive warning: if you wanna question mods decisions do it (respectfully) by PM, not in the thread.

Thank you

From Arpon Basu's twitter, this is what Julien says he expects from Emelin tonight.

It's been a few interviews where Julien says things like "we need to help him..." I like hearing that. He was saying the same thing about Galchenyuk when he came on board.

Emelin gets **** on a lot around here and obviously has been bad lately, but when he's playing well he's a guy who helps solidify our D and adds a huge physical presence.

Glad to see CJ giving him chances to get his game back and hope he can have a solid game tonight.

As opposed to "we need to make him a better person". I like Julien so far. If nothing else, it looks like the guys are playing for him.

Good news. Price, McCarron & Emelin all in.

Really, really hoping Emelin plays a simple game. No stupid pinches, no wandering. Just play the game.

Davidson hasn't really done anything to impress, so yeah, we need Emelin to step it up.

Awesome.

Love having an actual coach. Not that medieval ***** we had before.

Exactly.

And what else I like about Julien is our top line plays serious top line minutes. And when the game is tight or we're trailing, he cuts the bench.
