Wild is going to be hungry and we're going in lacking. Just hoping for a solid effort from the remaining chess pieces and some more points for Laine. Maybe we're not cup contenders yet, but would really love to see him with a trophy.

So I gave the tickets away to friends so I could enjoy a nice day around the house and on the street with the Kids. I am PVR'ing and will watch it if they put in a decent effort. That is the luxury of having a team that is out of it now I can pick my spots a bit more.

Coach said he was probably playing Strait with Josh so I assume:

Melchiori-Byfuglien
Morrissey-Strait
Stuart-Chiarot

Holy ****. Brian Strait is going to be our top minute muncher on the left side eh. The same guy who is measurably in the bottom 10 defencemen in the entire league. That guy eh. Well, as I look to the next one for some reassurance ....no not there, how about the next one.....oh god...

I feel like this is like the Oiler D was for a few seasons. This could be really interesting.

Agree. These should be used more than twice a year going forward.

I'd really like to see our bottom 6 get more ice time and the young guys play more minutes on the PP and PK. It's time to rest our vets and push development at all costs.

I'm curious to see how many minutes Morrissey gets tonight.

If the Jets don't now realize how desperately they need defenseman...I don't know what to think.

I'm not really sure if there has been a worse D in the league the past 5 years. Strait on 1st pairing & Stu on 3rd; so bad that we'll probably score 6 goals and win this one.
