I dont.

Good teams move passed bad calls. Bad calls happen all the time. Although it is completely unfortunate and obviously the wrong call (even after the replay.... like WTF), for a team to let one goal destroy them like it did, they can only blame themselves.

(yes i know colorado isn't a good team)

Here you go Hawks free win.
It was a bad call. That didn't mean the Avs needed to stop playing and give up 3 more goals. The Avs earned this loss.

Maybe, but the argument of a blown call really doesn't hold much water if one decision shifts it that much.

And, again, it was a ridiculously wrong call. I'm not denying that. Avs responding by turning off their console for a half minute isn't excused by that moment of incompetence, though.

Refs don't like to admit that they're wrong. The NHL needs to hire a team to do reviewing. A small team at each game or a big team in Toronto. The on ice officials have proven time and time again that they can't do the job properly. Or it will never be done right.

Just like the clear trip on Seabrook that lead to the Av's first goal? Oh wait, I thought it was only the Hawks that get away with things. Silly me...

the avs are extremly fragile emotionally it just sucks because they were playing such a good game prior to the goal.

that being said, i completely agree with you.

If this is true, and this should have been a good goal, I learned a new rule, or at least a new interpretation of the rule.

The excuse from the league to look even more foolish since the puck was pushed into the zone by Panik BEFORE Towes tagged up thus being offside...

"The review was not conclusive in determining whether Towes tagged up at the instant the puck was on Richard Panik's stick when Chicago entered the zone prior tho the goal."

That call also realistically ends the Wild's regular season

Looked offside to me. Not complaining since it went our way this time, but this reminds me of the Parise play that was ruled inconclusive. That annoyed me.

The coach's challenge for offside is just terrible.

I haven't seen the full play, so I couldn't say.

If in the gif in the OP he is receiving a pass, then no, he wasn't in control until after the puck was in the zone. If he was carrying the puck up the ice the whole time, then he's obviously offside.

A puck can hit your stick and you can still not be in "possession" of it, as we know from delayed penalties, etc.

Do we actually know when the puck was touched? It's impossible to tell from the angle down the line.

Edit: I would need to see the whole play if he was stick-handling. Then clear offside.
