His speed really helps. He's a good PP pointman and deserves more time.

It shows that Julien makes adjustments and isn't prone to superstitions. Unlike Therrien who rotated through lines and from what I hear, always used both sides of his toilet paper on game days.

Bob Cole has stated before that he is a habs fan. You have to respect that you would never know by listening to him call a game by the habs. That's the way it should be, if you're a pro you should leave your personal feelings out of it and call a game as it is. Galley is the worst for that...can't stand listening to him.

LOL, in the post-game, a reporter just told Jordie that since the trade, he's scored more than his brother. Obviously won't keep up but I thought it was funny.

Chuckie still needs to work on his faceoffs. It should not be ignored even after a win.

Pleks 62%
Mitch 84%
Danault 62%
Chuckie 31%

That was too easy. Habs sure showed Ottawa who deserves to be at the top. King Karlsson ,aka the best player on the planet, couldn't do squat. Methot is a meathead for being the tough by going after Gallagher. 10 hits and a -3.
Price was a rock, Emelin and Pleks were decent and Beaulieu scored!

Saltier then I should be about that 5th goal being called off. I mean yeah, it was technically offside, but it still sucks. Wanted to see Byron score again.

I was working tonight, so I didn't get to see the entire game. It looked, however, like McCarron was having a really strong game. It also appeared the power play is still atrocious.

What I've noticed the most under Julien is that the high danger scoring chances for the opposition from right in the slot has really been reduced.

Under MT the defense most nights looked like a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off and no idea where to go. Julien has really tightened that crap up and Price is facing much less dangerous shots.

Ott next games: BOS, Pitt (home), Habs, Phi, Min, Win, Det, Det (home), Bos, NYR (home), NYI - tough teams Pitt, Habs, Min, Bos, NYR
Mtl next games: Det (home), Car (home), Ott (home), Dal (home), Fla (home), TBL, Fla, Buf, TBL (home), Det - tough teams Ott, TBL, TBL

So Habs have more home games against teams who are lower in the standings.
Ott has more road games against top teams.

Ottawa will have a tough time to reach division title.
