And who knows, maybe he gives the Spooner line a boost. He's got the wheels and hands to keep up with Spooner and Vatrano.

I agree with you. I would rather get him signed and lose that year then risk him pulling a Vesey .He has the goods.

Donato I'm hoping will surprise everybody. He's very underrated.

He's had a far better second year than guys like Bjork and Vesey had and we know how sought after they became. He leads the nation in shots on goal as well.

BU is already back in Boston so something could happen as early as today.

Lauzon popped a goal in a losing cause in a surprising win for the good guys (Mooseheads) last night vs Rouyn Noranda in the first game of the playoffs in the Q

I was at the ND/Minnesota game last night and the one thing that stood out to me was how much TOI for Anders Bjork (especially in the 2nd & 3rd periods). The kid must be in great shape. He just seems always ready to 'pounce' on a loose puck in the offensive zone.

hopefully the irish lose today. i'd burn that year and offer him top dollar allowable under the CBA without even thinking twice - get him signed and get him in the lineup. hopefully lowell takes care of business in new hampshire today.

Throw him on the top line with Bergy and March? Provided he can play his off wing. Balances the line and gives a more defensive presence on the Spooner line.

I'd be willing to trade a year for losing him altogether too. Kinda seems
like a no-brainer. Don't want to risk him going back to ND and becoming a free agent

I'm totally on board for this entire post. Kid is a player, with speed to boot.

Maybe this is why Sweeney hasn't called up cehlarik again recently? He wants to sign Bjork and would then have to send down cehlarik again in a couple games?

i'm pretty sure bjork has been playing RW mostly, but if i recall correctly, he played LW with the USA WJC team last year. i would try him with krejci to start, but maybe bjork-spooner-backes could work? could always try vatrano with the top line again.
