Nice to see him out there last few minutes of the game

Hahaha read that earlier. 10th overall pick available a year after being picked

Avs doesn't seem to be a team willing to shave a year off Jost's ELC so there probably isn't any rush to this.

Charlottetown won again to go up 2-0 in the series. Meloche has 1G+1A in the 2 games

Huskies are going to OT now and down 1-0 in the series so a big moment coming up. JC had 1A in the 1st game and has been very physical today. Also has shut Hischier down so far

Fontaine wins it for the Huskies in OT off of JC's rebound

FYI, to add to Avs19 tweet, I saw that intermission live and Shannon added that Jost will/should take the next six or seven days or so to decide.

Seems that his mother was adamant about him going to college.

At this point, I'd rather him take the college route like Toews did. Colorado is not going to compete next season, so I'd rather wait a year so Jost can get a ton of ice time and polish his game.

Toews went to school 2 years but left after his draft +1 year. A lot of top guys are drafted out of school so they end up leaving at 19.

Jost will just further hamper our chances at Dahlin.

That's the new goal right?

Looks like Keller is signing his ELC. That's a nice little dose of excitement for yet another sad season for the Yotes. I really like where that team is headed. They do need to at some point add some good experience too though. Not just a Radim Vrbata. They should take a look at guys like Oshie in UFA.

For me at least, it would be disheartening to see Keller sign his ELC and not Jost. Physically at least, I think Jost is more ready for the NHL or pro hockey than Keller.

I would like to see anyone signed, like Mironov.

I just hope this is not a cost-savings measure of contract issue where the Avs are waiting until the last few games of the season are over. I am not sure that it actually be the case for the Avs, but in the back of my mind I wonder.

I don't know if it's fair to say Jost is more NHL ready than Keller. That's nothing against Jost either. Keller just looks incredible.

Keller didn't get much going on that NCAA game until the other team was worn down, I'm not sure how he's going to do physically in the NHL. But hey, good for him.

The Avs, I don't think want Jost in the NHL or AHL to finish this season. I don't think it's about money but they really seem to hate to pay anything up front or burn ELC years. I think it's just no reason for join either trash fires.

At Jost's age I thought it wouldn't burn an elc year?

Just read an article from UND writer that the Avs were at Jost's game Friday and spoke to him after. I guess this is common sense/assumed but still nice to hear it.

If the Avs have any respect for their fans they will sign Jost & Mironov, and use their last call-up from SA to finish up the season.

Why? If anything else, bring in Jost after this dumpster fire of a season ends and let him start his pro career in a training camp. Especially if the team decides to fire Bednar.

All I want is Greer to come up and finish out the season with JTC.

I guess that is too much to ask for.

Next season I wouldn't mind having Jost in the A, but if he prefers NCAA then that works as well. Either way I dont want us to push him into the NHL just because he's good enough to make our terrible roster. I personally would like him and whoever we draft top 4 this year to come into our team during the 2018/19 season.
