The direct quote isn't, but clearly that was the implication. Avery likely said it in not so few words.

All the same, there shouldn't be any quotation marks in the thread title...

You have to look at the source, who although a good friend of mine, is clearly casting a melodrama

Agreed... there should be no quotes...

Agreed. Easiest solution is to fire Andy Murray. Bring in Donald Trump and put it on TV so I can watch something entertaining involving the Kings.

I've said it before.

If Avery goes for a scrub I'm turning this team off for the year and selling the rest of my tickets. Maybe I can get a few bucks

I'll agree with Avery>AM

If Avery goes then we just lost one of the best things ever to happen to us

AM's excuse for benching Avery: "He isn't working hard enough, and not putting in a consistent effort."

^
What a bunch of ****ing ********!!

Avery isn't working any less hard then any other player on the team. There is absolutley no reason why he should be singled out.

We all know the real reason why Sean is being benched.

Some speculate that Sean is about to be traded.

I'm sure some other team's fans will be just as happy to have Avery as Kings' fans are. AM and DT couldn't be bigger knuckleheads. The team's sucking right now; it's gotta be the 3rd-line agitator's fault. Please. That's as ridiculous as the Robitaille benching. How about pointing the finger at some of the front-line players or, for once, at AM himself. Luc, Cammy and now Avery were singled out for dragging the team down. Yeah, it's always the third-liners that cause the real problems. This rotating doghouse routine is getting REALLY old for me. Could it be that maybe the concept of picking on individuals whenever things get rough is the real reason the team doesn't play hard enough. Moron.

All I know is that if Avery is traded any time soon DT and AM better watch their backs. I might just make a trip down to LA just to give them a good old fashioned a** whoopin.

Oh man i am with most of you guys on this one. All season Sean avery has been the hardest working guy in the line up. Yes he takes dumb penalites but alteast he moves his feet and hits everyone.

If DT trades him i am gonna be pissed. I never even got the chance to get my WWAD shirt.lol
I got banned from the other Kings site cause i wanted to make one!

That's a great point. All AM does is point fingers...so and so isn't working hard enough, I play my best hockey when.

WHAT THE FRICK about you AM????? Playing terrible defenceman year after year, having terrible special teams, benching hardworking, popular and respected players.

You're an idiot Murray. Do what is right and go back to high school leagues where you belong.

Thanks for the welcome. I've run out of patience with this team and want to see some changes.
