HF Organization rankings out!!

http://www.foxsports.com/content/view?contentID=1775600

Bruins at #21.
The usual names get mentioned while arguably their best prospects don't get mentioned at all.

No mention of Bergeron while other team's #1 draft picks get the hype.

A total joke.....They wouldn't know Patrice Bergeron from Patrice Brisbois.

Um, o.k.

Look at all the teams and there are lots of prospects with NHL experience that certainly quilify for these rankings.

My question is while we're stuck with Bergeron and Mark Stuart, Parise lifts N.J to #6 and is their highest rated player?

What we have is a bunch of guys who have their minds made up far in advance of this actually being released.

And as for Mark Stuart, he won't ever be mentioned as a good prospect because of his style of play.
He could someday be a captain, but he's no Bryan Berard.

This looks like pretty much a carryover of last year's rankings.

Toronto ahead of the Bruins?

Hilbert

The fact they still have Hilbert as our best prospect goes to show just how behind the times they are. I'd take Toivenen, Bergeron, Raycroft, Zinovjev and Samuelsson over Hilbert in a heartbeat. Of course, Andy might pan out and make me eat crow, but he looks more and more like a bust every week.

scrath that...........would be nice to see them get some respect and recognition they deserve......

and u shouldt need a pr machine to get it.

While I agree that it would be great for the B's prospects to get a bit more respect that they do indeed deserve, the way I see it is ignorance on the part of whoever does the rankings for the various teams. They more than likely know little or nothing about the Bruins' prospects, so therefore, they're barely (or not) worth a mention.

Sad, but it appears to be the case. :/

This info on the Bruins is hopelessly outdated and useless. They're calling Raycroft a prospect but not Bergeron. They don't mention Zino despite the fact that the www.russianprospects.com moderator said he was a strong candidate for the Calder in a September post...

It is a disgrace to see so few QMJHL players listed in there:
Bruno Gervais, from The Acadie-Bathurst Titans, just signed a 3-years deal with the NY Islanders and is not even listed in there on defense.
There are quite a lot more and they seem to be enclined to names gus who were drafted two or three years ago over latest draft picks. And the big names keep coming out even if they are on the down slope.

Bingo !

Any rag that lists Hilbert as the top prospect probably still lists the B's with a "goaltending problem" and lists Shields as the starter for the B's.

Lazy reporting work, imo. -Piels

Not only russianprospects did mention it but also McKeens.

This report is a total joke!

I'm cool with this. Makes it all the more impressive when our "unknowns" come out of the gate flying.

Laughable overusage of words such as "good" and "great".

Mix in a thesaurus, HF.

It figures. They rank Carolina at the bottom, and they go out and beat us 2-0 at home. The first prospect listed under Carolina? Eric Staal, who scored the game-winning goal last night.
