Jacare is underrated as far as striking goes but it's clear he can't trade with Whittaker for long. The key for him will be to take this on the ground fast , where his bjj is second to pretty much none.

Huge props to Whittaker for defending those takedown attemps. When Jacare has the double on you he takes you down 99% of the time.

Good job by Whitaker to get up and keep it standing.

crazy that Whittaker was a +200-something underdog. style match-up is perfect for Robert

Wow! VERY impressive. OK, premature stoppage but, honestly, Jacare was done.

Nah honestly I'd say Yamazaki let him eat more punishment on the ground than he needed to. Jacare was done.

Ohhhhh that kick! No problem with the stoppage... but you know a lot of people will say, but he was getting to his feet... yeah, where he would soon be knocked cold.

That judo headlock ground position is a pretty bad position in MMA. not sure why girls like Waterson and Randa Markos love to use those

It's a good, sneaky takedown maneuver but you have to quickly transition from it once you're down. Namajunas ended up taking the first round fairly easily, although no real damage was done.

Rousey influence I guess. Yeah, didn't like Waterson going down there.

Big statement win for Namajunas, she bulldozed her way right through Waterson like she was nothing.

Wilson Reis could be trouble for DJ just because Reis might just have the best ground game of all DJ's opponents. Don't think Reis can compete with DJ elsewhere though

DJ is not the best first round fighter, but he's pretty much tooling Reis. doesn't bode well Reis

DJ is his usual, a million miles an hour self. Reis can barely keep up with him.
