DJ is so good it's not even fair. He's like the most well-rounded fighter of the division, most athlethic and he's also like the most lethal finisher of the division

So goddamn impressive! PFP indeed! Like I said, a walking textbook of mma. Striking, takedown defense, top control, submission.... we saw it all there.

The best in the sport deserves a big payday.

He's not just beating the contenders either, he's finishing most of them. That in itself puts him in front of most potential GOAT's in my book.

DJ has done some unbelievable stuff in his career:

He tapped out a very good grappler in Reis
He murked an Olympic Gold medalist wrestler in the clinch
he one-punch KO Benavidez

if GSP made his career in beating people at their worst game, DJ made his by engaging and beating people at their best game.

Another bad rating for a mighty mouse led card. The tragic thing with Demetrious is that as great as he is, the guy just isn't drawing much. Casual fans don't seem to have much interest in seeing him fight.

That's a shame. Truth be told, most fight fans aren't tuning in to appreciate the nuances of the sport; half are inebriated while watching and just want a quick high with plenty of blood and guts action. Mighty Mouse reminds me of Ricardo Lopez, an amazing 105 pound boxer of the 80's and 90's, who retired undefeated (I think the only one besides Maricano and Mayweather). The causal fight fan was probably not even aware he existed. But he was a walking textbook of boxing technique, and, like Mighty Mouse, just a down-to-earth guy that plied his trade with the utmost professionalism.

The UFC should really promote the hell out of him and be taking about him every chance they get; he deserves it!

It is sad because Mighty Mouse is one of the GOAT.

That applies to the UFC as well. I will admit that I'm guilty of it, I honestly couldn't give a flying **** that Demetrious Johnson is fighting. It just doesn't feel the same when you're watching midgets.

I still watch, but just saying.

I don't agree at all, but I do understand how a Flyweight matchup can hold lesser appeal to some people. Personally, I barely ever notice the size thing anymore during a fight, unless they've got a giant referee in there with them like McCarthy or Maglietta.

Hard to believe Lauzon used to be one of the better young fighters around at some point. I guess after 40 fights he's gotten pretty banged up. He started very young too.

Another Von Flue choke win by OSP. As far as I know, he's the only one using it.

From what I'm hearing though the grapevines, the Bisping/GSP July fight may very well be off, unless a miracle happens. They're probably going to replace it on the card by a Woodley versus someone fight.
