2016 (Part 1) - http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=2045777

As for my yearly review:

2014 - Winnipeg
9 - Jake Virtanen (ewww)
39 - Ville Husso (still like the pick, might be STL goalie of the future)
69 - Vladimir Tkachev (still some interest in him, but that was way too early)
99 - Reid Gardiner (ewww)
101 - Matt Mistele (ewww)
129 - Kyle Wood (great value, he had an amazing season in the AHL)
159 - Edwin Minney (still can't believe I picked him ahead of Halverson…)
189 - Kelly Summers (well, he was drafted around there…)
Bottomline : Horrible. Wood and Husso are alright I guess.

2015 - Dallas
12 - Kyle Connor (still love that pick)
49 - Ryan Pilon (guy quit hockey… wtf)
73 - Conor Garland (QMJHL standout, nothing since)
103 - Ethan Bear (amazed by his development, great prospect now)
133 - Dryden Hunt (got signed afterwards, might still be a prospect)
163 - Fredrik Forsberg (undrafted, now a depth player in tier 2 Sweden…)
193 - Marcus Vela (drafted around there, hasn't progressed)
Bottomline : Connor and Bear are great picks. Rest is awful again.

2016 - Philadelphia
18 - Dante Fabbro (went 17, still a top D prospect)
48 - Cliff Pu (amazing progression, really excited about
56 - Aapeli Rasanen (still like him, but he has taken a really weird path)
78 - Jack Kopacka (did not progress as much as I had hoped, still an NHL prospect IMO)
83 - Evan Fitzpatrick (we picked him low, so not as bad of a pick, but man did he disappoint)
108 - Brandon Gignac (still like this pick)
138 - Ondrej Vala (UD but signed with Dallas, still like this pick)
168 - Matt Luff (another UD that was signed (LA), progressed well)
173 - Connor Ingram (had another great season, way better pick than Fitzpatrick as I considered him at 83, too and he went to TB at 88).
198 - Alex Barré-Boulet (tried my luck on another OA, but missed. At this point, doesn't matter)
Bottomline : My streak of picks at 56-78-83 could have been way better when I look at who was on board (could have had Borgstrom-Peeke-Frederic), but I still like many picks, even the UD with 2 signing ELCs. Pu was great value, as was Ingram, too.

Not great by any means, but I do feel like I'm getting better haha.

I'm in, hopefully get more quality picks than last year, I'll be touring Europe in May as well but I should be able to keep up.

16. Luke Kunin (Spot on)
105. Kasper Bjorkqvist (#61 to Pittsburgh +44)
195. Jake Ryczek (#203 to Chicago -8)

Just want to pat myself on my back (and bump this thread so we can do the draw soon) but I noticed a couple of guys I took that went undrafted have turned out pretty well.

Ryan Mantha - D- I took him 7th round, he went undrafted that year but is now a top OHL dman

Neal Pionk - D- I took him 6th round, he went undrafted that year but is now the hot ticket from the Final Four weekend as everybody wants to sign him!

We could still assign teams prior to the lottery. Adds to the suspense to know if your team wins it or not

Good point, by the way for the lurkers, there are some open spots up for grabs.

I vote for the team drawing sooner, rather than later
