That's just inexcusable. I know we are in the playoffs but the Blues crapped the bed tonight.. two points would have made things at least a bit interesting.

Heads need to roll for our OT...

If we were even remotely competent in OT this season we are sitting ahead of STL by a couple points.

OT, PK and PP, none are as good as they should be.

At this point I'll be happy if we pass Calgary for the top wild card spot. At least we are tied w/ Calgary right now and just have to hope Calgary loses their game tonight.

This team looked like they were just playing out the string instead of ramping it up for the playoffs. I agree it is inexcusable and fairly infuriating.

Agree- but if Calgary wins tonight (and they lead early) our chances are very slim...

True but our chances are even slimmer if we had gotten no points. Of course I would have preferred we got two points but that didn't happen so I rather have a point than nothing.

Except for Josi, listening to the Preds players' interview they seem content w/ who ever they play in the playoffs even if it's the Blawkhawks so whatever happens happens. All I know is we better score more than one goal cause if not it won't matter who we play in the playoffs we won't be getting far if we can only muster a goal like we have the last two games. Got to hope Neal comes back soon or is at least ready come playoff time and that our first line gets hot again or at least one of our lines gets hot in the playoffs.

I like the Chicago matchup best of all. Not to say that I am confident but I think we match up better against them not withstanding that they've proven they know how to win. I'm happy to coast down the stretch and take our chances with them.

I like that they have that attitude. And I am not really worried about our offense- tonight was just a crap game and won't have any effect on how we play in playoffs.

I think I am on board with the "let the chips fall where they may and bring on whoever we face"

And one more thought- if we play the last two games the way we did tonight we will finish the season with our current 92 points and none of the last week will really matter anyway. Dallas and Winnipeg are both playing very well down the stretch- going to be a tough final two games.

Way to show your appreciation guys!

Pathetic effort from just about everyone.

What is it going to take for our coaching staff to grasp how to play in OT.

Not me!! Chicago means another 1st round loss, Roenick smirking and celebrating our losses, drunken a holes in our arena, and horrible start times for NBC (National Blackhawks Company) to get their beloved team on.

Predsy way to close out the home slate this season.

We miss Neal.

Hopefully we'll be 2-0 or 1-1 when playing game three at home.

Nashville is due for a series win and there is no better time than this year. This is not nearly as good of a Hawks team as in years past. I think the series is a coin flip.

Well thanks for clearing that up. I appreciate it. Even if this Hawks team may not be as good as teams of years past, about the only team I don't feel as confident playing against is Chicago. Everybody else I feel we are better, equal to, or can compete w/. I feel we can compete w/ Chicago too but they just seem to find a way to win in the end/when it matters time and time again and so have the edge imo. Of course I would preferred to play an easier team the first round but it's the playoffs and so whoever we end up w/, I say bring it on whoever we play cause at least we have a chance to compete and fight to get to the Cup and whatever happens happens.

Yep- looks like we will be tied with CGY with 2 games left for each. But we have to finish ahead of them so they still have the advantage.

Which is why that blown point tonight was huge.

Looks like it's definitely Hawks or Ducks for us.

CGY's last two games is LA and SJS.

Preds' last two games in DAL and WPG.

I would say we still have a chance to pass CGY as CGY's last two games are no cup cakes and ours are winnable. But we will have to win both our games though and Calgary lose one of their two games or win one of our games and Calgary lose both of their games. Either way it will most likely be Hawks or the Ducks we play (Unless Edmonton or San Jose squeak in by the last minute) and either one (Hawks or Ducks) will be tough no matter how you look at it.

It might be best that we play Chicago anyways cause you know Anaheim will be out for blood and is going to want to seek revenge against us for kicking them out of the playoffs last year. Plus they like to goon things up. At least we know w/ Chicago if they beat us it will be from just out scoring us w/ their skill set and not so much from roughing us up and if we have a chance to get pass Chicago at least we probably won't be too banged up in the second round .
