It's the playoffs -- no matter how they format it every round will have meaningful hockey being played. The way it's structured right now, there's no real reward for regular season performance, which is dumb, considering the entire point of the regular season is to determine playoff seeding. I'd rather see the best teams duke it out later than see them knock each other out in the early rounds.

Matthews hits 40 on an EN and Toronto is in. Impressive turnaround. Let's see how Buffalo responds this offseason. Plenty of time for reflection. Time for us to improve and turn the corner.
