Pmb

Is PMB a Jason Spezza on a defensive team.

He just amazes me with his stickhandeling and passing ability but i wish he would shoot more.

I noticed that last night's 4 point performance puts him at 12 goals, 32 assists, for 44 points. Thats double his previous career high of 22, and he did it in 5 fewer games.

There's no doubt that the kid has figured out how to succeed in Lemaire's system. I don't think he's as good as Spezza, but he's pretty darned good.

I haven't actually seen these guys together, but listening to the games on the radio, it seems like they create excitement every time they are out there.

Spezza is a stud. I don't think PMB is at that level, but he is very good. I agree with Deuce: last year in Houston really help his game; he seems a lot more poised this year. He has great vision and his playmaking skills are crazy.

If only he weren't 5'1", he'd be a monster!

It's not so much his height...it's his frame....just a skinny kid with no mass.

He's a good 5"10-5"11

And where the hell did that rocket of a slap shot came from? Those two goals against Edmonton- I would have thought it was Dupuis or Rolston if there was no number on the jersey. I think JL might have given him a bit more offensive freedom this year, too. It used to be a simple chip-the-puck-into-the-corner play nine times out of ten, now he is creating a lot more. I like what I see from him this year.

Two, possibly three years ago, I traded Rick Nash for Bouchard and Handzus in my keeper pool. The trade has gone down as the "WORST" trade made by a team in that pool. I was so pissed at myself for trading away a stud like Nash, that I traded Handzus and dropped Bouchard the following year. I just wanted to forget what I had done and not have any reminders of the trade on my team.

Now this year, in the new NHL, Bouchard is playing like a star, and I not only lost Nash but it looks like I also lost P.M. Bouchard...

Oh well... at least I still have Gaborik.
