Rangers Thrashers Proposal

If thrashers are out of playoffs, we can use a depth dman, Id love to get Exelby but that wont happen so how about Andy Sutton and 4th to Rangers for Marcel Hossa?? Maybe being on the same team as his brother will motivate him. This will give a chance for Hollweg to switch with Orr in and out of the lineup.

Teams vying for a playoff spot tend not to trade veteran defensemen. And the Thrashers will be in it till the end. So,

no.

I don't think anybody wants Marcel Hossa.

Atlanta's GM has promised its fans that they will make the playoffs so as the previous poster stated they ain't trading a veteran D. As for playing musical chairs with Orr and Hollweg I'm thinking that chair belongs to Ryan 9 out of 10 times.

Who does EVERY single proposal you put out there always involve Hossa? You gotta be more creative....and realistic.

young and cheap, we have too many euros on this team, need to dump the one that suck. Niemo can go with him, takes too many dumb penalties in the offensive zone. I dont mind the roughing or physical penalties, but lazy penalties like holding or hooking. When we signed him I was happy, but now I know why some Flames fans glad he is gone.

Andy Sutton is a terrible player. I don't see him being enough of an upgrade skill-wise over Strudwick to warrant upsetting team chemistry. No thanks.

We had Sutton a few summers ago and never made it to training camp with us. Waste of a player

banger. I doubt Atlanta gives him up. He's a building block player for them Waddel would have to be totally drunk and on a binge for him to give him up. Exelby is the kind of young player that would interest me and the 28 other teams. Sutton is a maybe. But he would have to be real cheap.

OMG JOrtmeyer everyday you have a new proposal that makes no sense whatsoever! PLEASE stop.

Before I start with no to trading Marcel because he is playing good right now, why trade the draft pick for a guy like Andy Sutton or Exelby? I really think that you think this is some video game or something. Are you playing NHL 06 at home and this week you played the Thrashers and Leafs and those guys did good against you so you figured the real life Rangers should get them These trade proposals are a joke.

Just like I said to the idea of getting Tucker:

WHY DO THE RANGERS NEED SUTTON OR EXELBY? THEY DONT!

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I enjoy Gary's(that's your name, right?) trade proposals.

He's got some grit.
