Avery will play today...

...on a line with Roenick and Cammalleri.

My interpretation: AM basically realizes that Avery won't ever back down and he knows that he can't afford to keep Sean off the ice any more with the situation that the team is in. Chalk up a victory for Avery, IMO.

What? Murray sits a guy for a few games, and then they get back in. It happened with Robitaille, Cammalleri, and whoever else scratches Murray's itch. Did you think Avery would sit the rest of the year?

Everyone says Murray is predictable, and does the same stupid highschool stuff every year. But now it's Avery bending the will of Murray after 2 games, and proving his coach is a weak idiot. Really, that makes sense.

I can confirm the email, thanks for sharing it...I thought it was rather hospitable of Kevin Gilmore to come over to say hello to you and inquire about your travel plans for tomorrow...

Give me a break. This is nothing new. This is the exact same **** AM has done to guys for years to try to light a fire under their *****. Glen Murray, Robitaille (twice), Cammalleri.....it's the same song and dance.

I agree, Beauty... and, KingsFan1234, it's the fact that Sean never backed down and only argued with Andy in papers and accused him of changing his story that I'm referring to. Sean wasn't going to back down, so Andy (IMO) did.

Avery wasn't going to back down but AM wasn't going to bench him more then a couple games anyway.

Avery was the best thing on the ice today - great hustle, great going to go get the puck in the boards, and a few amazing passes.

Nick Nickson just said on the post game show "There's a LOT MORE to meets the eye on why he was benched. A lot more. I'll just leave it at that"

Could it be he was out partying with Ms Cuthbert at a Grammy party, then showed up for practice the next day severely hungover????

Which just reinforces my opinion that if Avery gets traded I will personally kick both AM and DT's a$$es.

So Avery's not buying into the system...and everyone hates the system...

Could it be that the one thing the system in missing is Elisha Cuthbert?
