Absolutely. Was going to bring it up at various points during the season but didn't want to offend in case it was some tradition that the fans really loved. Since you said it, I'll agree, just awful.

I'm not sure why they're even playing this series. clearly, Chitaco is the king and Nash doesn't even qualify as the jester. The experts - well, most positive thing said is probably that PK has another gear and the Preds have some good young talent and they have a CHANCE to take Chitaco to 7.

Tyler also picked Nashville to win the series, something he's getting pitchforked for on Twitter by Blackhawks fans.

Looks like no Wilson or Jarnkrok at practice today.

Not good- not good at all. Gotta hope they will be ready Thursday.

Not even skating? Uggh. I guess it's a full practice tomorrow before they fly out? Maybe they're giving it one more day of rest, but.......

Honestly, I have no idea how we will do. I do believe that one of these years we are going to be the team that goes on an unexpected deep playoff run... maybe it will be this year. When it happens, it will probably be when we least expect it

Here's where it came from:

This is actually where it came from. Dates back to '85 against Edmonton in the playoffs.

Doing it in others' arenas isn't something I agree with. That's a Chicago Stadium/United Center/Chicago thing and it shouldn't happen in other buildings in my opinion.

The thing that bothers me about it is that I've seen Hawks forums\twitter accounts urging people to do it not as some patriotic display, but simply to **** off the local fans.

Didn't realize the "experts" were 16/40 last year, would have been better off using any kind of predictive measurement.

If Chicago can win a World Series and Cleveland can win any championship, there is always hope

I don't know what's worse. The first time we hear that dumb goal song in Chiraq or the waiting for this series to start. The waiting is the worst.

For what it's worth, Jeff Marek of SportsNet predicted that Nashville beats Hawks in 6, goes on to beat the Caps in the Finals for the Cup and Arvy gets the Conn Smythe.

Chelsea Dagger was actually in my top 100 songs on Spotify last year. Oops. It's a good song to me. Eventually the Hawks association kinda wears off.
