I'm completely fine if Grant bugs Timmins about taking Frost or Chytil this year.

Not sure I'll have to - just send him this.... https://recrutes.ca/filip-chytil-dan...s-apr-14-2017/

He also won the draw on that play. Beast mode shift.

It's nice but let's see him play well against a real team. Belarus looked like they were just learning how to play for the first time. And that was the 7th goal, I doubt anyone cared at that point.

Still, there's some things to like.

Yep. I was really impressed by his play tonight, but let's see what he does against Sweden.

For sure, and I said that much to a fellow scout...he's been doing it all season though in 5 Nations tournaments and the Hlinka against better teams...I'm more interested in seeing how competitive Necas is against the better teams..he's the one with consistency issues. Believe me.there will be good tape to show in later games too..if the skill is there it will show up versus better teams too.

Neither of those guys is 1st round material imo, although Chytil is pretty underrated. He's also one of the youngest players in the draft, i see him being a 2nd round pick tho, early to midd 2nd range (Frost midd to late 2nd).

Yea Chytil is a solid prospect, could end up being a Lehkonen type 2nd round steal.

Based on today's game, I wouldn't. Chytil's way better. If he keeps this up, he won't make it anywhere near one of our seconds.

Not sure why a hit should convince anyone to spend a pick on someone in the 1st round.

Nope. He didn't really do much else in that game. Chytil on the other hand was one of Czech's best players along with Zadina and Necas.

But I otherwise agree. Let's see what Chytil can do against a better team. Sweden game coming up.

Because they are talking about Chytil for our first or a early second?

Hague's been a beast so far in the playoffs, so has Timmins.

Intrigued by Evan Barratt. First time watching him right now at the U18's and he seems to have a very complete game.

Was looking out for him after TT1's post. He seems very smart.

Yeah, good skating and has some crafty playmaking abilities as well. Made a really sweet pass with his skate at one point.

There's a lot of intriguing centres on the US development team. Josh Norris, Evan Barratt and Scott Reedy.

Ratcliffe has one hell of a wrister. That's a pro shot if I ever saw one. He's a decent skater too for such a huge guy.

ytil didn't have that great of a game. Seemed kind of out of it. Not a bad game but didn't have the same alacrity to his game as yesterday.

Safin played much better than last game, and ended up with an assist on a very nice play. He made some other nice plays, too. Has a decent set of mitts.

Kosorenkov and Gawanke are way too low on the CSS rankings. Way too low. I know they are both small.....who cares based on talent at this point.
