No more game day threads for Baron. 1 thread - 1 loss.
Esche gets the start tonight.
Hopefully Joni will be ready to get back in the line-up.

Ouch, strict. But fair. Gotta pin the loss squarely on the Baron.

it would be nice if we actually show up tonight
seriously, this year the PP has looked good, but evan strength we are non existent whcih is the exact opposite of last year
games like last night make me wish that the youth movement we hear about was in full swing (Carter, Richards, Woywitka, Seidenberg, Ruzika and Sharp) they could not have played worse

OK, I'll take the hit for this one!
I thumped my chest a bit much, when I wanted to see the fall of the Roman Empire, again!
Let's see a nice rebound game, and come home on a high note!

Flyers goals by Kapanen,Recchi and Amonte/Roenick

Vandermeer gives the Ducks a 2-0 lead 5:30 in. Just gave it right away to Prospal in front of the net.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy....
That's the worst turnover I've ever seen him make before.

Chouinard puts one in, he's looked good the last two games. Has worked real hard. These linesmen *** suck. They've broke up both of the fights real quick.

These refs are terrible. Typical shoving in front of the net and they call unneeded penalties, with an extra going to the Flyers when the Ducks are the ones who initiated the contact!

Pitkanen looks real good so far, he's also the only player who is a +2 after the 1st period. On the other hand, Vandermeer has seemed to panic and turnover the puck every time he has had it.

For those that prefer Fedoruk he takes twice as many dumb penalties in half the icetime as Brashear does.

Amazing how few people realize there's a reason why Brashear is on a line and Fedoruk isn't.

I also think Boyd Kane could replace Fedoruk if he keeps his play up. Kane looks like a good enough player to play regular shifts without being a one- dimensional fighter like Fedoruk, but has showed he's willing to fight if it is needed.

Reffing has been brutal again tonight.
White tripped up no call, he trips Ozo, another bleepin PP for the Ducks.
