1,000 thank you's. I updated to show Wilson out and Aberg in but I'm sure we won't know for a while.

Any guesses on Weber or 2Bit?

Playoff Pontus Aberg - has a nice ring, don'tcha' think?

As for the 3rd pairing - how about Hunt? By Sat he was looking better than 2bit and Weber is just......meh

Here, Vingan guesses:

Forsberg, Johansen, Arvidsson
Fiala, Fisher, Neal
Aberg, Jarnkrok, Smith
Zolnierczyk, Sissons, Watson

I like it. However, I'd dress Salomaki over Watson any day. Especially in the playoffs. That guy is a warrior. I like him a lot. Of course, Watson can play pretty hard as well but Salomaki is the better hockey player.

Both are way better than Harry Z, he's the one that should be out, not Watson.

I really don't get why Aberg is in the lineup. Hasn't played an NHL game since Feb 12th. Guess no one else can play LW? Going all out on speed?

They're both a problem. Both crap. Hopefully Wilson is good to go.

Forsberg, Johansen, Arvidsson
Fiala, Fisher, Neal
Wilson, Jarnkrok, Smith
Aberg, Sissons, Salomaki

...would be quite a lineup. I'd swap Arvidsson and Neal but that's just me.

I've never felt so little anticipation for the playoff opener in my life. Hopefully when puck drop comes around I'll start to feel it.

It's just Vingan's guess. But it makes sense. You're not gonna beat the Blackhawks with goofies like Watson or McLeod. They don't care if you rough them up (except Keith maybe). They just outskill and outskate you. Gotta dress every bit of skill and skating you have. Hockey changed a lot. Obviously the direction the NHL wants to go.

Then why not call Aberg up earlier (especially since Wilson missed the last 2 games), so he can get brought back up to NHL speed? I guess that is my gripe.

Of course. Makes sense. They might wanted him to gain some confidence and find his scoring touch though.

Blues fan here. What is the radio station that carries your games? I need to use Tune-In tonight to listen in while I do some work around the house.

Oh, and knock their teeth in. I hate the Blackhawks.

I'd rather have Aberg out there than our fine collection of 4th liners and (um) scrubs thar are too slow to catch a stopped train.

Heard Crispy on the radio in the last hour; he believes neither Jarny or Wilson will be able to go. If that is the case, I hope we just roll 3 forward lines.

I'm not, but that's probably because I'm expecting a 6-1 loss.

Vingan says Jarnkrok very likely, Wilson highly unlikely. Quite often, he's right.
