Keep playing like game 2 boys! Keep this train rolling!

How on earth did Hartman not get suspended for that hit on Smith. If that was one of our guys he would be out tonight for sure. I hope Watson lines him up and lays him out.

The thing we do seems to be working. Enjoying my wagon riding here. Chicago is going to come out angry. Saw that against the Jets after we won 4 straight in regular season against them. They raised their game for the fifth. I expect a pretty intense night.

Go preds!

I thought it was a foregone conclusion; I was surprised/irate when I saw that nothing was done.

He checked a guy's head into the boards while he was down on the ice. There really couldn't be a more deliberate act of trying to hurt someone...at least most of the hits to a player's head are in game action where a mistake is easily made.

Let 'em come out angry. No time to worry about what they do. It's great to see the Preds hit them in the mouth and make them like it.

The Preds just need to play their game and not worry about what Chicago does. That is when Chicago gets the advantage, when the other team panics.

Little Arvy is so getting paid soon and deserves every penny.

Not going to lie, I wasn't so sure Pekka had it in him again.

Good luck to Playoff Wilson getting back into the lineup.

Nice job Jonesy! You forgot one thing in your GDT though:

But seriously, what happened against ANA last year? We won the first two on the road then lost the next three. The kids need to come out and play like it's 0-0. The Hawks were embarrassed at home and they are going to come out firing tonight imo.

Vamos los Perds!

I really haven't even realized the game was today until I logged into the boards. I guess i'm still riding the wave of that game 2, hopefully the players are more focused than I am lol

Seriously though, this game has "TRAP" written all over it. Two shutout wins on the road, Easter Sunday, coming home... it has all the potential for a bad loss. But a win would basically seal this series up, gotta hope that the Preds just carry on a continuation of game 2, pedal to the medal, pucks into their net and never let them have a real chance to get into the game.

Very disappointed you don't have Peks' two points listed.

I was just looking at the season stats and, with the exception of points (which I know are important), it seems these two teams are extremely close.

Anyone know an easy way to get similar stat breakdown since the All-Star break?

Not off the top of my head, but I know that in terms of normal regulation play....so discounting OT, shootouts, and extra attacker situations, throughout the season we had a +17 goal differential over Chicago's total heading into the series.

Let's keep it up tonight, they were so frustrated at the end of last game, if we can make them take some stupid penalties that'd be great.

What a great start to this series. Game 2 was fantastic. I really want to win this game.

Let's go defense and Pekka.

Someone on the Hawks board seems to think one of our guys (Watson, in their opinion) will come calling for Hartman since he isn't being disciplined. I'd like to see it, but at the same time I don't want to get roped into any shenanigans. Or, in this case, start some of them.

Same. 2-1 on a team like the Blackhawks feels *very* different than 3-0, especially given how good Chicago was on the road this year.

Forget it; just let Hartman continue to be a possession black hole for the Hawks. I'll take my justice on the scoreboard.

The Weeks will be on the band stage tonight.

Preds got this. Keep the pressure on and the nets full.

All I know is we better not end up getting some dumb penalty because someone thinks they need to go after Hartman. The guy probably should have been suspended but I've also seen hits with as much or more impact happen in scrums in front of the net when play is stopped.

We don't need to give the Blackhawks anything at this point. They need to earn everything tonight.

totally agree. hopefully in fact it makes hartman simply play even more cautious and maybe we can further exploit him.
