I'm going to puke if Hartman scores a goal tonight.

He is playing poorly enough as is but I can only imagine his game will be further negatively impacted by him looking over his shoulder all night.

We don't need to give the Blackhawks anything at this point. They need to earn everything tonight.
Totally agree. The last thing we need to do is give them easier chances on the PP, we can get our revenge on Hartman when he is sitting at home with the rest of them.

Really if I'm Lavi my message tonight is simple. Play fast, play smart, and play simple. Have your feet moving, don't take stupid penalties, and keep the puck out of our zone.

You do those 3 things, and I think Chicago makes enough mistakes that you will get more than enough chances to score.

A poor showing tonight undoes a lot of what the team has accomplished so far. Please don't let down Preds.

The way I see it, the Hawks are theoretically a game better than us. Right now I feel like a two game lead is a one game lead. If we lose tonight I'll feel like we're tied. People can flame me for that train of thought but I feel like it's fairly accurate.

As in a 2 game lead over Chicago is like a 1 game lead over the Avs?

I think this is left over from a disappointing season that was disappointing because of super high expectations. In reality, it really depends on what kind of game it is. If we get blown out, I can see it feeling like being tied. One pretty close game, one blow out in our favor, one blow out in their favor. If it's a close game that we lose I feel like we still have the edge.

Of course, if we win, especially if it's a multiple goal win, we're all feeling pretty great, so let's just go with that option to make things easier.

Stay tough Preds. You have the favorite sons of NBC and the NHL on the floor gasping for breath. Don't let up.

So if the score is 6-0 and he scores with 2 minutes left and makes it 6-1 that will make you puke?

Both the band and those fool Blackhawks.

I agree no problem letting Hartman play. The NHL owes us one now ....so if one of our guys hits a Hawks player from behind or a big head shot hit on open ice we should get a break. Hartman is brutal so it would be nice if they kept him up on the top six but I don't think he will .

Go out and play like you have the last two games. Skate away from them if they want to get snarky. Best comparison I can make is when Foppa used to get killer and drew a penalty and just grinned as the guy went to the box. Play smart and do the same thing. No need to goon it up. We're in their heads. Keep doing what we're doing and it will continue. Play at an even keel. No need to come out like an 18 year old boy on prom night. Steady as she goes fellas.

We should feel good as fans heading into this game. We're up 2-0 and 3-0 in a few hours. Not nervous at all here. Our guys are ready.

I've had a few drinks and don't have to work tomorrow.

I've only been this nervous for a game once in predators history and that was game 7 vs the ducks last season. That worked out well for us so hopefully tonight does as well!!!

Ottawa and Boston haven't even started the 3rd period yet and it is tied. I doubt it will be over before the preds game starts for those of us who have to watch it on CNBC. They usually put it on the NHL Network though if 1st game goes over.
