Jaromir Jagr...

Just finished watching the Ottawa vs Washington game and it seems like nothing changed with Jagr. I think he was benched for most of the third period, either that or he was pulling a great invisible act. Such a shame that a talent like that would rather float then play with heart. Martin Havlat apparently looks up to this guy. Word of advice to marty: Find a new role model

Jagr has been like that for a while and the topic of his work ethic or lack thereof has been beat to death lately. Simply put for what he could do out there if he wanted to, the guy is a dog right now and its sad.

Just saw some highlights from that game and Jagr was slashed on the hand, it looked like he was injured. That may be why he wasn't around in the third.(Just speculating)

On another note, the sens just put on a clinic tonight so much so that Jacques was inclined to play his fourth line for the bulk of the powerplay.

Just run up the score next time, we need more goals in the nhl.

They said something on NHL2night about how Jagr refused to play on certain lines. They mentioned Cassidy putting Bondra and Jagr on the same line, and Jagr would just sit on the bench. What in the world is he thinking?

He is a premadonna who thinks he is bigger than the team, simple as that. The Caps should trade him and be done with it. Send him to the Rangers, they couls afford him and apparently he was almost traded there this summer so there is interest.

At first, I was upset when the Penguins traded Jagr for three prospects (although it was a necessary trade, I know). But seeing what he has (or hasn't) done in Washington puts me at ease a bit.

But it truely is a shame to see such a talented player not peforming up to his abilities. I'm waiting for him to say that he is ''dying alive'' again. That will be good for a laugh.

It seems like all super superstars are. If they don't get what they want they pout and play like crap. He will do this until he is traded or bought out. Bure did it in Vancouver and Florida. It the same no matter who you are. If I made the money they made I would play until the contract was up and then move on. But that is just me.

Why's that stupid? It's a professional league where guys are paid based on their numbers; if they've got the opportunity to score, they should score.
