Unless you're a betting man it can be a bit boring. If you like putting a little money on the line though it gets real exciting.

Not a better but for a 2 minute event was ok.

I never watch horse racing but for some dumb reason I always end up watching the Kentucky Derby out of sheer curiosity. It's a fun event but the trick is to tune in for the race and then tune out when it's over. 3hrs of coverage for a 2 minute race is insane.

Big win for Genie against Sharapova in three sets. Turning point for her?

Didn't see that coming. Must have been especially awkward for Genie, especially after those recent acerbic comments she made about Sharapova's suspension for using a banned substance.

It could be the start of something for her, if she can get her mind back to where it needs to be. It was kind of an ugly match though, both were making a lot of errors and trying to find ways to lose at times. Genie needs to put a legit winning sequence together before I call her officially ''back'' .

I didn't even realize that Sharapova was competing again. Has she had any success since coming back? She could be rusty, or maybe she's just not the same anymore. Aside from missing alot of time, she's also 30 years of age which isn't young in the tennis world unless your are Serena Williams.

Her suspension was reduced. Only 2nd tournament since coming back. Time will tell if she can climb back to top10. Before this tournament she was outside of top200 but is getting free passes from organizers to avoid qualifiers. I believe Roland Garros has not yet decided if she is going to get one there too.

Why would she do that? At least when you do it on Jerry Springer you get some beads out of it.

That's one way to mess with the opposing pitcher's concentration I guess . She must be a very dedicated fan !

Sharapova NOT invited to Roland-Garros.
The wise, sensible and appropriate decision has been made.

It's one of the better ones I've seen in a long while for sure . His eyes are so glassy, he looks smashed beyond comprehension on that pic .

A quick discussion on some rule changes that are being tested and that we might see in the ATP before too long. I'm mostly happy with the way the tennis game is played but speeding up the sets a little could be a good idea.

No advantage is probably a good idea. 4 sets games i dunno about that. Will give breaks an even bigger importance.

Being more strict on the serve clock would make a huge difference in itself I think. Sadly, some of the worst offenders are high profile players ( Nadal, Djokovik) so it would be tricky. Nadal in particular takes so damn long between each serves it borders on being comical.

A brawl erupted when Hunter Stickland drilled Bryce Harper with a 98 MPH fastball, which led to this:

Lol, no way it'd be for revenge of a HR 3 years ago.

Either way, Nationals suck. Wish Harper got more than 4 games.
