In a fit of anger I had listed my 3 club tickets for tonight and woke up today and cancelled the listing. I'm not ready for hockey to be over yet so I'm holding out hope that Bob will finally show up. Fleury is back to being Fleury last game, if ever there was a chance for a team to come back from 3-0, we can do it with him in net. I like Sedlak, Quincey and Nuti coming back, I think that helps Bob's comfort level and confidence. And Calvert back is a big boost to the PK. So I'm doing the only thing I can, stay positive and hope for the best! I can say we are playing much better than any of the other teams that are down 0-3, or the teams like Wash that are down. So why not us?
Glad to see the change of heart. I'll be there too, hollering with hopes it's not the last hurrah.
Maybe I haven't watched Harrington enough, but is there really that much of a speed difference between those two?
Nuti just has a history of being blown by and allowing break away and odd man rushes. I honestly think they should have let him adapt to the smaller rink in the AHL this year because he had the potential but VS some of these teams he's just very out matched. It helps we are home and control matchups but that doesn't mean he won't get caught out. I think Q is the right choice and should have already played over Harrington earlier this series.
I have a feeling Next year's starting D might be a significantly different line up. JJ is a high probability pick of LV. Murray I believe is important to the team but seeing our lack of impact offense guys he holds the most value of guys we can afford to move. It might be a starting opening night line up of:
