I don't know if they shook hands or not after the series, but Lanny McDonald and Tiger Williams were good friends until Tiger was asked to shadow Lanny in '82.
Tiger had a great series, and Lanny did not. The Nucks swept the Flames 3-0.

Lanny publicly stated their friendship was over after that series because he couldn't forgive Tiger for taking things too far (I believe it was alluded to that Tiger brought Lanny's wife's name into things on the ice).

It seems like Tiger made a lot of enemies along the way.

Wasnt it some years ago with Russia team? If im correct, it was on some World Champs.
