If the Habs get the puck of their own end and don't make any dump mistakes in their end, they win the game!

I also predict a bomb from Weber at the point (this time going in the net.. possibly through it) and Patch also scores. One of these guys gets the game winner.

F I'm a nervous wreck!

Switch Radulov and Shaw and the lines would probably be the best they could be at this point.

You are getting an Emelin who has not played in two week plus. You are getting the Emelin who will need to adjust to an insane playoff pace. Even if we get the solid Emelin you have to think he will need to time to adjust to the speed

A very creative non-linear great looking GDT.

I wonder what version of the Habs we can expect this evening.

Awake Maxpac, and lead the Habs to victory! If thou failest, then as the summer breeze wafts o'er the city, thou shalt fade as wispy flatulence that is. Heard, smelt, and then is no more.

If we score 5 we lose game 6, we will be over 2 times our usual output with a 5 goal performance.

Habs 2 Rangers 1.

Hopefully he remembers how to play defense. In this series it's our own mistakes costing us games and recently emelin looks like he's never played defense in his life wandering around and blowing assignments. They should probably go with 7 d but not looking like they will. hopwfully the offense shows up.

Disappointed in the lines. Galchenyuk and Radulov looked good together and King has provided nothing that McCarron can't. If anything King is a liability on the ice.

Habs are doing a fantastic job keeping him to the outside/akward angles. Of course man mountain probably has a lot to do with that.

The first goal is huge, especially in this series as both goalies can shut things down afterwards.

I'd prefer McCarron in the lineup too, but I think King is better fundamentally and knows where to be on the ice. He's limited in what he can do because of his skating, though. McCarron may make egregious errors out there. King prob won't.

I'd still put McCarron out there because Mitchell's responsible and can help cover. I also think some better skating on the 4th line would be nice, and some energy.

I also wouldn't be opposed to Flynn though. No one likes him, but I find him fine. Solid defensively, great skater, can maybe take advantage of the fact that it's been a physical series and buzz around the Rangers' D -- tire them out physically through skating, rather than physicality.

Do what you said Galchenyuk should do when you ragged on him every game.

TVA Sports said the other day that whoever scores the first goal usually wins the match. So let's get that first goal tonight!

Was curious about how other goalies were doing Save % wise vs dear carey

Here is some fun stats courtesy of NHL.com
Discounting one game wonders (J bernier and Chad J of calgary)
Rinne .979 %
Allen .966%
Jones .950%
The King .944%
Dubnyk .943%
Jesus Price .942%
Gibson .926%
Talbot 925%
MAF .923%
Anderson .917%
etc etc
Rinne + Allen are in their own league.
The next 4 which includes CP31
After that we have Gibson Talbot,MAF and Anderson.

As you can see by those numbers the 4 that are below CP, 3 out of 4 of them are currently winning the series. I suppose what I am trying to say here is….. NEEEEEED MOAR GOALS !!!!!!

That's because he isnt playing the 2014 Habs, he knows he wont get off the ice in one piece if he tries anything.

About the lineup, I also dont get this attraction to King, he hasn't done anything his whole time here, he's extremely slow, as in Hal Gill looks like Pavel Bure next to him. Big Mac should be on that line.

I only turned left 82 times last game and I turned left 95 + last two games we won. Gonna have to maintain a hard left turn % if we're gonna win going forward as a team.

After Price/Lundqvist, the goaltending in all the other EC series hasn't been very good. As you can see the next closest goalies to the ones in our series have .923 and .917 save %, after that Rask has a .913, Holtby .907, Andersen .905 and Bobrovsky .891.

There have been quite a few weak goals given up by those goalies, even Holtby who is usually excellent in the playoffs. We are averaging 35.5 shots a game, if we keep that up we'll start scoring sooner rather than later.
