Alright, we need to continue to play our game. This is going to be the most physical series of the playoffs.

Blues very different team than Chicago. Will be a lot more physical and nasty. Both teams will have about the same time off. Should be a good series.

Keep the speed lineup. Make them chase us around.

It will be a tough, tough series for sure.

But one thought- that Blues/Wild series was a strange one. The Blues won in 5 games, but if you just watched every game in that series and didn't know the score of the game or the series record, the Wild looked like the better team for a good portion of that series. Hopefully that bodes well for us...

I am tempted to like the idea of keeping the speed and just making them chase us all over the place. The trouble is that they have such big bodies that rink shrinks fast.

But oh my god I can't wait to get started! Let's go!!

Any guesses when games three and four will be? Desperately trying to get a work schedule together.

Or it could mean Blues have the puck luck and it bodes well for them. Whatever the case, this is going to be a hard fought battle and tough series. Definitely think it will be tougher than the first series. We can only hope Wild at least wore them down some for the next round.

There is just no way to know right now. But if I had to guess I think we may play Fri/Sun in STL which could mean Tue/Thur in Nashville.

But that is just a guess....

Allen was unreal. Hopefully he relaxes and loses some focus by the time the series starts.

Just a guess when looking at scottrade and Bridgestone event schedule:

Can't play in St. Louis- Thursday 4/27, Saturday 5/6, Friday 5/12

Can't play in Nashville- Thursday 4/27, Sunday 4/30, Wednesday 5/3, Friday 5/5, Saturday 5/6

This is my prediction:

Friday 4/28- Game 1 @ STL
Sunday 4/30- Game 2 @ STL
Tuesday 5/2- Game 3 @ NSH
Thursday 5/4- Game 4 @ NSH
Sunday 5/7- Game 5 @ STL
Tuesday 5/9- Game 6 @ NSH
Thursday 5/11- Game 7 @ STL

And I am willing to bet that if my predicition is accurate, games 2 and 5 will be NBC afternoon games as long as the Atlantic division series is NOT Boston vs NYR

Our guys are going to need to come out ready to play and still have their feet on the pedal if they want to get pass the second round. Definitely feel we won't have it as easy as we had it in the first series. Blues battle and compete level seems alot higher than Chicago's was not to mention beating a team with even more battle and compete level (Wild) is no easy task. Definitely feels like it will be a tougher series this next round. Feel our guys are up for the challenge though. Let's go Preds!

I think this matchup will be way more challenging than a series against the Wild would ever have been. Their top guns weren't REALLY doing much, but they got ahead 4-1 very convincingly. But in my mind, the Wild were a bit like Chicago. They didn't finish the season on a high note and really slid into the playoffs.

(Chicago went 2 wins and 8 losses and Wild went 4 wins at the end winning against the likes of Avalanche, Hurricanes and Arizona. After they lost 13 games in a month.)

St Louis doesn't seem to be a team we can just sweep. It will be a lot harder than what Chicago could do. Wow that's weird to say.

This. Allen kept his team in the game. Wild was just swarming all around him the last half of the third and completely dominated in OT and still lost. Blues looked like the team playing on their heels in the third and OT but was still able to score in the end. Feels like it's going to be a series where the Blues will be completely dominated by the other team but then still squeaks out a win some how. Those will be frustrating games to watch for an opponent.

Well all I know is I'm tired of our team getting booted out of the second round. Would like to finally get that demon out of the way and finally get pass the second round for a change. Time to get pass that hurdle Preds!!! Time to kick some butt!!! Don't let anybody stand in your way!!!

Nashville hot chicken vs St. Louis toasted ravioli. Sounds like a delicious 2nd round matchup.

Just push the pressure, drive the zone and don't dump and chase, get to the net in front of Allen and you'll absolutely dominate them. Mike Yeo cannot coach from behind and cannot coach offense. Your top 4 will MURDER the Blues and I'd bet a lot of money PK has a huge series (big fan of that guy).
