We need to figure out how to get in Allen's head early. I know we thought Pekka had bad patches this year but Allen was totally mental at one point... need to make them turn to "thanks for having me" Hutton.

Firmly believe this will be an extremely close series; expecting it to go 6 at least with a couple OT/OT2 games. Vamos los Perds!

I feel good about this series. I feel good about this team. Think we got something special going on here. Strategically, this is going to be a completely different series but I don't think the Blues are the team to end this run. Preds win it in 6 on home ice. Let's go!!!!

I feel good about it, but it's hard not to feel good about the series after sweeping a 1 seed.

The battle of perpetual underachievers. Someone must advance.

I feel like if we win this one we can keep up with anybody, it should be a hard fought series. Go Preds!

I just feel like a WCF berth will do wonders for the external perception of this team. Sweeping the Hawks made a splash for sure, but could be viewed as a fluke if we don't follow up on it.

(Chicago went 2 wins and 8 losses and Wild went 4 wins at the end winning against the likes of Avalanche, Hurricanes and Arizona. After they lost 13 games in a month.)

St Louis doesn't seem to be a team we can just sweep. It will be a lot harder than what Chicago could do. Wow that's weird to say.
I think it will be a tough series, however, St Louis, despite winning in 5 games, was anything but convincing. The Wild carried the play most of the series- just could not get any breaks and could not solve Allen.

First of all I want to congrats the Nashville Pred on their Sweep vs Chicago that was very impressive.

I will be siding on #76 and the Nashville Preds for the rest of the current playoff
If I really want you guys to win is to Subban say a bit **** YOU to Montreal and that ****ing ********* trade (no am not talking Weber is ********* but how he was trade for a reason)

Yes I believe that Pacioretty is the reason why Subban got trade , but guess what Pacioretty is invisible as always in the playoff ,

GoodLuck on you Subban and Predator , am sure a few habs fan are behind you guys !

It was great to beat Chicago and get past the first round but it's not over; now time for the Preds to stay focus on the next goal which is to get pass the second round something they have never been able to do. Time to give it all they got and make history. Time to have the mentality we aren't going to leave w/o a win.

Regarding potential scheduling- there are now only two series left and both could end Sunday.

Will the league still wait until Thursday to start 2nd round if that happens??

Would mean 3 days with no playoff games.

Will C. Wilson be inserted into the lineup for game 1 if healthy?

I like our defense matchup this series. If Rinne keeps it rolling, i like our chances

As someone else did, Allen is a head case. Just got to crack him for the gates to open. Min had no players to do this, i think we can.

I am hoping for the Predators to play either Wed or Friday going up against the NFL draft will kill ratings

Gonna be a great series. I watched 3 games of the Wild-Blues series, and I didn't find the Blues all that impressive. Their defense is rocksolid, though and Allen is on a roll. But their offense lies pretty much on Tarasenko (who always thrives against us, he'll be tough to contain). The Wild didn't have a game breaker like us do in Forsberg, Neal and Arvidsson.

The Blues are a lot different team than the Hawks, a lot slower but a lot more physical, defense-first type of team. I don't want us to make any lineup changes (ie. putting McLeod, Bitetto or Fiddler in the lineup) I want us to play with our own strenghts.

Blues fan coming in peace. Was rooting for this second round matchup, not because I think it's easier or anything but because it's long past time for this series to happen.

You guys have a hell of a team and a hell of a fan base. Bridgestone Arena is a fantastic place to watch a hockey game.

Here's to a great series!

Looks like it will have to be one of those. There is a concert at Scottrade Center on Thursday.

Im guessing the following due to events already planned at both arenas.

Game 1 Fri 4/28
Game 2 Sun 4/30
Game 3 Tue 5/2
Game 4 Thu 5/4
Game 5 Sun 5/7
Game 6 Tue 5/9
Game 7 Thu 5/11

Another series without weekend games for the Preds.

Fun fact: the concert on Thursday is Tim McGraw/Faith Hill. Would be hilarious if he trolled them with the goal song.

This is gonna be an absolute dog fight. Unlike the arrogant ***** Blackhawks, Blues won't be looking past us. Not with the way our regular season games against them went, and because they will take nothing for granted as they try to find success that gets them a step closer to their first ever cup. I do think there is more pressure on them because of the latter reason, and I hope we don't think too much of ourselves after embarrassing the 1 seed and our success against the Blues in the regular season.

You can throw the regular season games out because Rinne and Allen only played 1 full game against each other. Saros played 2 games, Hutton started 1 and finished 1 that Allen was pulled. Reason for the backups was because of back to back games which isn't a good reflection of how each team is going to play now with almost a week off.

It will be a different series. Much more physical. Blues are better defensively. Blues bottom 6 much better than the hawks. Lavy will probably keep the same lineup for game 1 but we may see McLeod and Salomaki in this series.

We come bigger for this one - you can't let the StL goons run wild from the start, especially at home. If Watson has to answer and gets destroyed, that crowd will be deafening. Cody for Z, at least for game 1. Watty needs to squash Upshall, though.
