If he doesn't allow a goal, they win.

Bruins have played most of this game like there's two minutes left and just trying to hold on

This WBS team so dangerous though. Going to the PP this game is so far from over.

Gutsy performance thus far. Penalty killing has been really solid - need another one here

Big W. Get these kids some more playoff experience. Pumped Danton had both goals, and 4 in the series

Love it.

WBS's playoff slogan was "Make Playoffs Great Again". Ahhhhhhahahhhahahhaaa.

Zane is the man. Deserved it.

What a statement series for this team! McIntyre delivers in a HUGE way. Taking down the best team in the league by winning the last two games of the series on their ice is no small feat. Looking forward to what awaits them in round two.

Heinen fires home the rebound on the PP to get the team on the board in the attached.

Terrific win!! Hats off to McIntyre, Heinen (scored both goals) and the whole Providence organization.

On to the second round.

Not sure if people realize what a big deal this series win is. We beat the top team in the league, not led by career AHLers, but our top young prospects. Now we have a good chance to go on a long run, getting these prospects a lot of extra games.

Prospects that could easily see games in the NHL next year: DeBrusk, Heinen, Kuraly, O'Gara and Grzelcyk.

After 3 tries we finally beat S-W/B.

Feels so good.

Zane was insane, Danton was on fire and Kuraly brought the pain.

next round series schedule will be fun to see last year of circus issues but IDC lol (circus is from the 4th to the 7th)

how many goalie changes if Cassidy was still coach?

PB's will be playing Hersey in the next round. They won their game 5 today on LH Valley home ice with a 3-2 final score.

Providence has a couple tough games with them down the stretch. It contributed to the drop into 4 place in the division. It hindsight having to play WBS as a result obviously did not prove fatal for them in the first round. Should be a good series, which I believe is now a best of seven.

Heinen has unspectacularly gotten himself to the top of the AHL playoff scoring charts, tied for first with 6 pts (2g/4a) in 5 games.

When I watched him a few weeks ago in Springfield he was so solid, and he comes out of the middle of nowhere to make plays. You don't notice him, but his positioning is so good, he always seems to be in the right spots. He plays such a cerebral game, but doesn't shy away from the dirty areas either. I can see him having a long NHL career once he adjusts to the speed of the game.

Since there is no broadcast from Providence anymore, for those of us who don't have AHL Live & want to follow, here's the link to Hershey's radio broadcasts. Their PXP announcer, Zack Fisch, is a friend who I got to know in the USHL & ECHL.
