The goalkeepers easily.

Look at the number of good goalkeepers in we have in other leagues:

Kiprusoff
Toskala
Toivonen
Lehtonen
Niiittymäki
Markkanen
Noronen
Rinne
Norrena
Hurme

Finnish referees are among the best in the world. And not as biased as American refs (can't understand why there are US refs in Canada game or opposite)

Just curious, but what's your origin, Estonia or Finland? And if you're estonian, do you speak finnish and do you root for Finland in hockey (or other sports)?

Btw, I think Finlands best export is the lovely finnish women, there's quite a lot of them who have moved abroad (while finnish men prefer to stay in Finland nowadays). I like finnish chicks, although I've just dated Swedish women, never a Suomi-girl.
As a finnish guy I might not think this is a good thing though, losing fine women twho'll get hooked up with foreigners...

Well I know it is an old thread but Id have to agree that it is your women. My wife is from Finland and now lives with me in Canada. I must say that I met a lot of perfectly fine "exportable women" while I lived in Turku (cheering for TPS). I got the one i wanted to export though and have never regretted my decision. so my vote goes to your women

Trust me, you dont. Being a dark haired, brown eyed foreigner (half North American Indian) I got more than my share of advances from women, and actually more than my share advances from men (including from Ilkka Kanerva whose eyes made me feel very dirty at a club in Turku).

Doesn't surprise me at all, finnish women are total suckers for anything "exotic".

Oh yeah, by the way..."finn crisp" is sold in specialty stores in at least Canada, and it's regular Vaasan hapankorppu. Bought some when I was in there

I vote for that Ilves logo from SM Liiga. That thing creeps the hell out of me.

Very low.

Hard rock/Heavy metal is as good as the brown matter that catches popularity by sticking beneath your shoes.

Be careful what you say. Some Norwegian Black Metal bands might read this, and then come to your town and burn down your churches.

And then Lordi would piss on the ashes, Al Capone-style.

Haha, yeah, I'm afraid they have that reputation almost worldwide. Well, at least it's a well known fact here in Sweden that finnish chicks are considered "easy", and suckers for dark-haired guys. Of course they have the right to choose what they like, but personally I think it's an amazingly shallow and immature attitude. (for the record, swedish women used to be suckers for anything "exotic" too until about 10-15 years ago, when they realized that having brown eyes/hair and a foreign origin isn't very exotic at all in Sweden nowadays. )

Haha St. Teemu. Yeah Matti Hp, be careful with your insults cuz your name is probably on their list now. So don't say you weren't warned.
I'm against church burnings, but Black metal music (be it Norwegian, Finnish or Swedish) rules!

Stay black!

Agreed. All finnish goalies have had success at the NHL so theres no doubt that their best export are goalies.

I'm currently living in Finland for a while, but I lived in Canada most of my life. I have to say that besides sportsmen the Finns keep the best for themselves; therefore i'm going with goalies.

And I like Finnish clubs, but being the son of expatriates makes explaining that i'm foreign but familiar much more difficult than it should be. In Nurmijarvi one girl asked for my ID.
