Reshape the 4th line and we should be good to go.

Hopefully, Smith and Jarny are ready.

I wonder why Lavy dislikes Aberg? He played great against CHI.

Every game is different and I don't expect this one to play out like game 1. Need speed, stretch passes and inside scoring. Would love to see Neal with a monster game.

Defensively---Wouldn't say we need to hit them or do body checks but our players do need to at least push or get in front of their man and keep them from getting into our interior to prevent them from scoring since they have players that can score easily and also do a better job getting the puck out of our end quicker and being more aggressive on their fore check. Fourth line needs to do a better job of this especially. Think if we pick up the pace of our game overall and play a speed game that will also help w/ this and us getting the puck out quicker out of our end.

Offensively--Would pick up the pace and have more speed against them in their end to create better scoring chances and be on the attack offensively.

Next, would continue to get the first goal to have the lead rather than having to play from behind especially against this Blues team that plays well defensively.

Also need to score on our special team/PP as much as possible since it's going to be tougher to score on them 5 on 5 w/ their defense/goaltending.

Lastly, just find a way to win! Do it for Kev!

As always, get the first goal. Stay out of the box. And stay focused, particularly on clearing the d-zone

I'm confident but at the same time everyone and their uncle knows they'll be coming out blazing and we can't keep winning every game so something has to give eventually. Just keep playing our game and we can let things fall the way they do. So far, so good. Do it for 56.

We're bound to lose one eventually and I unfortunately feel like tonight be it. Hope I'm wrong though and we can keep this streak going - get'em boys! Just don't shell up like you did in the latter of Game 1.

I hope that Krok, Smith, and Aberg can go tonight. Wasn't too thrilled with the Game 1 line-up. Hoping that Harry Z will be re-inserted tonight as well.

That is basically the way I feel going in. We are not going 16-0- we are going to lose a game eventually and this one will be tough.

But on the flip side I felt exactly the same way going into Game 2 in Chicago- absolutely did not think we would win that one and we all know how that turned out.

The thing I like about our situation, being up 1-0 on the road, is that all of the pressure tonight is on STL. They lose tonight they are pretty much dead in the water. A loss tonight would not be the end of the world for us. Hope we can take advantage of that. If we can somehow get the first goal again, I like our chances.

I just had my day made... a 6 year old patient of mine came in rocking a Preds hat and a Subban tshirt/jersey. And this is in Kentucky... I'll take that as a good luck sign!

I'm feeling a bit jittery. Okay, a lot jittery.

I'm as nervous as a Baptist Elder in a liquor store.

Go Preds!

um, yeah that's the joke. (Baptists aren't supposed to drink)

the full joke goes: "Jews don't recognize Christ as the messiah, Protestants don't recognize the Pope as head of the Church, and Baptists don't recognize each other in the liquor store"

(and I was raised Baptist so I am authorized to tell this joke)

If I was in Montreal and wore a Preds shirt would people still think I'm actually a Preds fan or would people think I'm a Habs fan protesting management?

Or would that have to do with if it was a Subban shirt or not?

i dont think there was such a thing as a preds fan in mtl before the trade. So now if we see a preds jersey its definitely with a 76 on it and definitely a habs fan lol

Smith and Jarnkrok (but not Aberg) skated before game one as well. Hopefully they actually suit up this time.
